Broken hearts can't mend amends;
so forget what you've seen,
Forget what's been said.
Without each other, we are one short of
alone; Two deadbeats, one heart beat,
       short of being dead.
We're lucky, you know that?
There are dreams that go unfulfilled,
words that go unsaid,
sights that go unseen.
We make a great ado about the most trivial matters,
but when you stop and think
about all the memories you could possibly make
with all the things and people you have,
you realise that it is possible to make life just a bit less miserable.

There are seven billion souls in this world, and counting,
yet we managed to find each other.
Whether or not you're at the other end of the red string of fate
doesn't matter.
I live in the moment,
and this moment I share with you
will last for as long as I breathe.
Walked to the river to experience liberation again.

Let the tall grass nourish my tired, nostalgic toes.

Blood streaming through my arteries like an ocean song.

Pensive- Mind's gears turning like clockwork.

coyote
how do i
become
significant
in the life
of a boy
who claims
the stars,
and the
unexplored
caverns of
the universe,
are overrated?

Metanoia
I now realize the best way to express my love for someone is to release them into the wild
free to become what they wish
encouraging them along their path
as a sister or a brother
how absurd to think
I used to want to control everything
driven by envy or fear
always blocking the light
from reaching my eyes
denying my true self
in a perpetual tailspin
with shovel in hand
digging holes for no reason
reluctant to grow
wings of my own
I now realize the best way to express my love for someone is to forgive them
even if they meant me harm
learning to love without conditions
is the sweetest release of all
I could stay here..forever
Reading all your poems
Digging deep into humanity
Knowing pieces of human heart
Of pain
Joy
Sorrow
Anger
Desires
Love
I love to write
But I also love to read
Letting words fill the deep longings of my heart
Thanks to all poets who live real lives.
I am Schrodinger's cat
My thoughts are an experiment on entropy
I am both dead and alive

I've been tongue tied since third grade
never able to say I love you.
Especially to myself.
She said I'm skinny.
He said I'm ****.
She said I'm smart.
He said I'm sweet.
I said I'm sorry.
But I'm not sure any of them are me.
