Blue jean pajamas
Dreams of the moon
Bare skin morning
Awake before the sunrise

I've developed a taste for dawn
A craving for silence
Time before time begins
A conversation with my soul
Love begins here

Senses pour in the alone
Alone is where I find myself
Rain of thoughts more powerful than the heard
Questions of the forgotten
I am forgotten

Sun fills in the cracks of yesterday
Illuminating chance
Whispers upon the wings of robins
The search continues

Page 8? One word?
F. Scott Fitzgerald puts fruit in his lyrics.
I could never stop at one.
I bit into "soppiness" and
it squirted in a way
to make a fatted grape jealous.
I peeled the skin of "Swinburnian"
and it juiced the air
with an argument between God and hell.
I plucked The Tree
in This Side of Paradise and pulled down
a "Celtic" apple shared by a mother
a Bishop and a Monsignor.
"Thirsty" spoke
but did not leave us hungry.
And his basket was so sweet
that Carmen Miranda could
wear his words.

Two hearts ignited
Over long conversations
When two time zones merged
"I fail to see how you can fall in love with a person without meeting them!"
"I fail to see how you cannot."
"People lie on the internet."
"You're half right. People lie."

(Read my poem, get a micro-story free!) :P Sorry guys, don't mind me! :) <3
A box of prescription drugs on my table.
It holds your name. Stating what is wrong with you.
Flaunting the details of where your body is
Failing.

You notice the hair on my pillow.
Shame.
Worried looks.
Anger.
I find none of it in your eyes.
You buy me razors.
"Do you need any help?" you ask.

Kisses on my bald scalp.
Beauty. Now we match even
Better.

No my Darling, that is not snow.
Its not winter, it should be colder.
No my Darling, that is not snow.
Its just dandruff on your shoulder.

No my Dear, I am not in pain.
Neither am I hurting, or showing grief.
No my Dear, I am not in pain.
Its the lettuce in between your teeth.

Yes my Love, I am listening.
I was just temporarily distracted.
Yes my Love, I am listening.
But your friend is so attractive.

No my Sweet, its not that draughty.
Its not windy, you've got it wrong.
No my Sweet, its not that draughty.
Your skirts caught in your thong.

No my Darling, that is not snow.
It can't be true, its a wrong fact.
No my Darling, that is not snow.
Its just ******* on your compact.
