Take a look at the world
What do you see?
Are you missing someone?
Can you see the mistakes you made?
Did everything turn out good?

Do you want it to be like this?

Open your eyes
Open your soul
Open your heart

You are full of life

Control what you want to see
For us to learn
We must let go of our need to be right
For us to let go of our busyness
We must learn to become still
For us to learn our truth
We must surrender our control
For us to heal
We must admit we are sick
For us to live fully
We must accept that we will die
I wrote this during the grief of our 9 year old son's death. It's from my book COURAGE.  Grief has taught me so much about life.  Grief revealed a truth that I did not see until I faced death.
The creak of a spine
And scent of a musty page
Intoxicates me
Ode to time!
Her royal cunning...
Planting seeds of her abundance in our hearts.
With her cooing whispers as that of an infant.
Sweetly engaging us in a lazy conversation
persuading us to delve into the path of procastination.
She mocks at our simplicity.
While she mounts her chariot and rides away.

Ode to time!
Her royal sauciness.
Her disregard cuts through boundaries.
From Lords to the lowly.
With no strain of consideration, she rides.
Not perturbed about
the slim chances
which last between waste and conservation.
Hissing at our ignorance
exploiting our regrets.

Ode to time!
Her royal disease.
And shall we not all be plagued?
This mortal body,
we all shall submit
young and old alike
shall drink of the same cup.
The elderly and youthful shall dance
to the
sovereign bidding of time.
This speaks of time and describes her in my very eyes.

I’m always first
to forgive—
even when
there’s no apology
even when
it’s not deserved

Yet why is it so hard
to forgive myself?
even when
I’m in need of it
even when
I’m always sorry

(I’m sorry to myself)
(I’m sorry to myself)
(I’m sorry to myself)
I really am sorry.

How many nights you've been
Turned and tossed in the confines of your sheets
So the lunacy of your nightmares
Won't push you in the world of insanity

Me
Use
Your fire, Dear
It's there and it
Is part of your
Kind soul
Surround yourself
If need be
It's there for
A reason

She is nobody's  angel
She doesn't have a prince.
She has a beautiful family to love ever since.
Her dreams are not as of  pinky girls..
She never liked her hair open with curls..
She doesn't paint her nail her lips never touched those coloured sticks..
She never pouts on selfie clicks...
The beauty is hidden in her mischievous  smile. .
That can hold any body's  feet for a while..
She makes the same plait everyday..
Like she has taught her her hair how to stay...
She doesn't have time to mingle her finger with her hair...
She doesn't think that she needs  any body to take care..
She loves black not pink..
by this she conveys the message I think..
She never tried to charm anyone.
She is a daughter playing role of a son
I never found her wearing..
Neither nosepin  nor earing..
She is different  from others people say..
She doesn't  care even becz she knows the way
She made her a war hawk not a dove..
That is y she is not ready to love..
Her mother is also concerned about her..
But she proves people wrong who doubt her..
She has a dream to live and die for..
Everything  she has but still Striving for more.
She is adventurous an  explorer always ready to grow..
She is a learner this is what I know....
She is a queen of every  trait..
She has written her own fate..
She wants wings to fly...
She wants to touch the sky..
She is one for all..
Waiting for her dream call...
Everybody who liked her tried to convince. .
But she is nobody's  angel ..
She doesn't have a prince...
