Like the song of the breeze
Our joys blow under the sky
Like the oak so powerful
Our sorrows stand continuously

In the midst of a bright day
when sky gets covered up with dark clouds
it jeopardizes the well beings
of daily nuances.

But they fail to realize
that until you don't witness the darkness
you don't tend to appreciate
the beauty of the bright rays
peeping from behind the dark clouds

The mesmerizing rays
touches the soul skin deep
refreshes the senses
reclaims the victory of life
regenerates the novelty
and preserves the energy
to face another dark phase

I did knock the tree trunk
Harder and harder,
as though i am a woodpecker.
in search of something inside it
and to ask the question
But what i get,
is not an answer,
but a few dried leaves
waiting to fall on me and die on the ground.

I did throw pebbles
on the banks of a river
Farther and Farther,
in the quest of something below the water
to ask the question.
But what i get
is not an answer,
but a splash of tiny drops
waiting to touch my skin and get dried up.

I did run in the direction of the wind
Faster and faster
to defeat it, to stop it
and to ask the question
But what i get
is not an answer
but a heavy breathlessness
eating up my energy, and splashing the sweat all over.

And finally i did fight with God
and prayed with utter dedication
But I still don't get an answer
Because he says, the answer is within me
My conscience should answer and no one else.

He says: "Its alright not to know the answers
For they are meant to come to you
when you least expect them."

what the cloud knows?
except melting with the cool touch of the breeze

what the rain knows?
except carrying the heavens to fields without invitation

what the stream knows?
except offering fruits with the spirit of sunlight

what the tree knows?
except caring the cloud that in the cradle of sky

O manasi* !
what the baby ,the seed, knows?
except creeping into dreams on the lullaby of love

what you know, o my manasi?

except gifting a pearl in the oyster of my heart
the passionate tear in the eye
the patient smile on the lip
the reason to live--- what else is needed?

---------
manasi--- the personification of thought, heart...

May I rest in your calmness
                                       Bathe in your peace
Replenish in your happiness
               Find home through your gateway

          Find ME

                     In the stillness

Breathe in

          Gratitude

                 And

                       Exhale

                                 Joy

a fearful thought or idea
enters my head and
robs me of my serenity

the center of all my obsessions
is me, and the only things that helps
me get out of myself is
being of service to others

I ain't no bodhisattva,
but I think they had it right.
Even if you become an englightened being,
what's the point of being aware and free
if you aren't willing share it and help
others to be free.

Relaxed?
Not yet.
Each step forward
takes you further down
inside,
expands outward the mind,
to find this internal
moment profound.
Now
calm peace and warmth
with each breath.

Peace and harmony
for my being
Peace and harmony
for my friends and family
Peace and harmony
for my community
Peace and harmony
for my country
Peace and harmony
for every living soul
Peace and harmony
for our dear planet.

Extending outward
our mind's eye sees
it all.

Peace and harmony
for our sun and solar system
Peace and harmony
for our Milky Way galaxy

Peace and harmony
for the whole wide universe
in
this moment of
being
in
this brief moment
of
conscious living.

"Next".

Thinking Out Loud
There were days
she felt as if she were drowning
in an ocean of
expectations, failure, and fear

She knew that feeling
wouldn't last long though
because God had a way
of reminding her
that she had learned
how to swim

For that
     she was
            forever
                 grateful

If I should have a daughter,

Then this is my vow to her:

Any boy who leaves your soul in pieces

Will be found with his body in multiple pieces

When I am finished with him. :)
I will be a terrifying mother...
I am not pregnant or anything btw, this was just a thought for the future if I ever have a daughter.

We gotta Love what we got

Ready

Creatures are Crawling

The Horsemen are Coming

If only i could tell you
the meaning of my dreams

Only ever consisting of
The wildest, craziest things

Like being atop a roof
of a giant, Giant Eagle building

One that I so easily scaled
I must be good at climbing...

But why?
Maybe i just like the feeling
of being high

Or maybe
Im with the feeling of one
with the sky

Yet another day of pain was put behind,
She lets out a sigh of relief as if the beast
That stalks her is duped for now, once more.

The last Metro train that night, slows down, stops.
To return to her regular prison she gets in hurriedly.
Emptiness bares it's fangs, that looked sweet in fact,
In comparison with the experiences of the day gone.

A suspicious bundle on the floor stirred at her touch,
A frail women almost frozen, living dead, eyes sunken
in sockets." How did you end up here?" she quarries.
"I fainted, didn't eat anything, for the past few days"

"Mother, you need to drink something hot quick.
Come with me I'll take care" her eyes get moist.
Then she smiles thinking how fortunate she is.
"My share of sweet misery is here to teach me
practice humility, even in an empty compartment"
