quickly the fire truck
jumps from its station
clamoring into traffic
disrupting its flow
like a boulder sat in water
the cars swerve and collect
on the side of the road
only to soon return to their stream
the casual chaos continues
and I wonder what it’s like
to be able to go about routine
when tragedy is occurring
just up the river

I close my eyes to try to hide
Cloaked by the darkness I've kept inside
It's the only comfort I've been able to find
The only problem is...it's the worst kind

I got away from the fights
The sleepless night of yelling
The uncertainty of safety
Unstable home
Endless self doubt
Insincerities

I ran from everything that made me
The fear
The endless mind games
Never being enough
The constant minefield
You raised me in to navigate

I look released
Because for once
I'm happy being imperfect
Happy being broken
Happy being the mess I am

Because I am me
And I finally get to be that
Just me

A lost and thirsty wanderer
sought oasis on a parched and dusty plain
                   where spectral mesas
merged with pastel stratus clouds -
            quivering in the summer sun.

                    A slender blue ellipse emerged
                            along the horizon's edge,
                          taunting the traveler’s arid throat.

                    Recalling child-day afternoons.
splashing in the pond behind the barn,
his legs urged toward aquatic deliverance.

                                       But knowledge seized his boots.
                                   Wary of loving a delusion,
he chose instead to seek a road or farm
or chance upon a horse-backed rancher
                                tracking down an errant calf.

Still he looked back to his phantom pond  –
never to know if an oasis flowed
less than an hour’s walk away.

Let our beloved earth heal
she needs to close darkness
away caressing light, flowing
through in all directions.
Blue-white light energizing
across each thought that
never knew how lovely
awakening in spirit could
be, so divine in promise, love
leading all forces to crystal
abundance followed by
predestine awareness
after the storm has
passed all intellectual
knowledge.
Imagine! everything beautiful
you have seen your entire life
enormous overload to mind
of man, well known to God who
created everything incredibly perfect
now darkness covers all this beauty
he wanted us to have through love
made of devotion to his lighted
form, power of our universal
imaginary deliverance, now
the reality, not an illusion.
Love is us, we are love, life is us
earth is love.
We are all one Love within Love.
THE EARTH SHALL NOW BEGIN
TO HEAL.
