.
There was a rose I saw once bloomed,
Cuddled in stone yard garden, set free,
To fire in midsummer fields maid loom,
On the village path that ends by the sea.

The wind dances with you in the sun

O rose of happiness and of sorrows,
My heart is in bloom as you are true,
I love a boy so grand and unknowing
And I have no words, or song, or tune.

My heart sings with you in the sun

Little wee flower, who danced me away,
My dear companion, for a soul set free,
Nestled within walls of stone on parade,
Till one morn gone on a walk to the sea.

Dark n Beautiful
He said to me  " Come and take my hands
and walked with me under the rented Caribbean moon
for the emerald moon at night has the power to heal wounded spirits

I took a trip to the land of my birth at least once a year,
Where the beating sun scorched my skin into an even tone
and the North America cold snap it back in place
during the winter months.

I love it when the aircraft slowly descent over the small Island
Those nostalgic feelings get to me all the time,
I often wondered if the Islanders knew of my arrival
He waits for me in that sunny room,
where the window curtain blow in and out in a timely manner,
The room scent, a light, fragrant aroma of lavender,
and the fresh saw dust welcome me home.

How many more secret can we store there?
a quiet place to let my worries go,
a place to make me smile, perhaps then
I shall always welcome those sweet tears of joy
And he being there with me makes
my Island trips more pleasurable
Sunny days and memorable Caribbean evening,
I became that romantic poem every poet thought of writing.

I feel you moving inside my soul
you move me
and, I have no control
you take me to other fields
you take me where I have no shields
a woman that's always held her ground
Steady. Strong. Fierce
A lioness stare that could pierce.
A woman that knows she belongs
Still. A woman that longs...
longs for love
the kind of love
where she belongs.

you are a man I've never known
you are a man that's helped me grow.

beth fwoah dream
the wind whispers
to the shore
of blue grasses
and falling waves.
i love you so much
that i can’t wait to be with you,
to touch your hair,
to cover you in kisses
and drown in all your beautiful love,
know only the fierce fires,
the sweet, sweet, blowing tides
of your burning heart.

What if we had met
In Florence, say five centuries ago
Would you have let
Me be your Leonardo ?
You gentle face I would have framed
In the back, a sfumato of Tuscany
You, I would have named
My Mona Lisa, smiling to eternity.

If love is not but a dream
Than I am just an essence
To occupy unneeded space
Never to feel the warmth
Of my soul embraced

In the vision of love
My very being shudders
An orchestral muse
Intervened by an abruptly
Dissonant key

I remember used to be
When there was you and there was me
That was before we split the scene
Now all that's left is used to be

I remember way back when
Boys and girls now women and men
Too far too fast, the way it went
From off the cuff of way back when

I remember giveaways
And what it was that broke that day
The tears that flowed at my say
And how I regret the giveaway

I wanted to dance across your synapse
But inside that beautiful head is fire
And i spend too much time getting burnt
I left my home a crippled boy
And now reflections, soft and out of focus
Show me the man i never wanted to be
I still see the flower
The one i plucked on our last walk together
I see flashes of images
As the stem got to touch you in places i can only dream of
As you pulled back your hair
Revealing your neck
I was embarassed
That you just might be able to see my thoughts
I wanted to kiss you there
To belong to you
To have just a piece that wasnt petals
That could be mine to hold
To cherish
To love
I wanted all of you
Your fire
Your heart
Your teeth, even that one that was a little out of place
My favorite one if im honest
I wanted to hold you
To grasp you in my arms
As we surf on the waves of life
But soon i would realize
I was the only one holding on to us

There's something in-between us
I'm not sure I can say
But I hope to put my finger on
Top of it one day

And on that day I hope that it
Shows itself for what it is
That something that's between us
We'll seal it with a kiss

Then take it out and show it off
That something in-between
All around will marvel at
What this something means

This something here between us
That so longs been festering
We both then will face the fact
It finally made it to the scene

That something in-between us
What else can I say
Without really letting on
Or giving it away

poetessa diabolica
Devoured by the intensity,
  words that quench the soul
an enchanting intoxication - -
    like a spirited ******
      whetting a voracious thirst,
plunging in for another swallow
   of adoration's satiated ******
Golden laced
repeat patterns dance
beneath closed lashes
Sunlight finding it's way

through shimmering ripples,
I see before me
Woman of the Water.
Stance of resilience,

silloute to sky. She
skims the surface.
An apparition.
This Goddess dancing atop

the waves. Paddle in hand,
solid upon her watercraft.
She knows her strength, gliding
above a sparkling world of secrets.*

Ameliorate
A delicate smile,
So sweet,
Could melt any woman's heart.
And send her boat,
Quivering
Blissfully cast out to sea.

I feel like I'm falling
But I'm standing straight on my feet
I feel like I'm dying
But I can hear my heart beat
I feel like crying
But I don't shed a tear
I want you gone
But I need you right here

Don't move on to another girl
Come back to me
To our fantasy world
You can be the prince
I will be the princess
You can save me
From all the evil villains
We were holding hands
Together we were happy
I'm dreaming of
My fairytale ending

My head is spinning
My ears are ringing
From listening to our song
To me it's like a lullaby
But it makes me cry
Cause it brings back memories
Of the happy days
That used to be
Did you forget
About you and me

I saw you with that other girl
Now you don't smile
Anymore
You know that you
Were meant to be
With me
Don't move in to another girl
Come back to me
To our fantasy world
You can be the prince
I can be the princess
You can save me from all the evil villians

I'm the damsel in distress
Your my Prince Charming
You say don't
Worry, I'm coming
Me and you together
We are always happy
Finally I've got
My fairytale ending
