We cannot prevent people from falling in life
Blinded by our own salted skin and crunching bones
And only notice the wounds on someone's face
when they knock on our door
and ask if they can borrow a plaster

I can only watch you with deep s y m p a t h y
when your scarred heart gasps for breath
if only I can heal your p a i n
if only I could catch you whenever you fall
but I'm just another helpless creature
expecting myself to be m o r e
and guilt appears faster than rain on car windows
and my heart goes up in the flames of grief
the guilt grows damp before my eyes
plasters do not heal w o u n d s
want to bury them deep down with me
your misfortunes are mine
My crooked heart knitted to y o u r s
And I just want to say that I'm really sorry
for letting you f a l l
I should've hold your hand more tightly
I couldn't swim and you jumped in

                                                                               and I couldn't s a v e you

we always know everything afterwards
so we cannot prevent our people from falling
We can run as fast as we can
but time is faster than realization

                                                                  We are either  d e a d  or  l a t e.

We used to say to burn to death would be
excruciating
But love,
You do not know
The extent of excruciating;
The pain of losing you.
To me now,
Burning to death
Would be a pleasant escape,
Compared to having to
Take breaths
And live each day
Without you being mine.

A rainy day,
two hearts in love
Moisture falls
from up above

We don’t care,
bring the storm
Our love is here
to keep us warm

As we walk,
laugh and play
On this perfect*

Bury me softly in this womb
I kept this part of me from you
Sand rains down and here I sit
Holding rare flowers
In a tomb... in bloom

Down in a hole and I don't know if I can be saved
See my heart I decorate it like a grave
Well you don't understand who they
Thought I was supposed to be
Look at me now I'm a man
Who won't let himself be

Down in a hole, feelin so small
Down in a hole, losin my soul
I'd like to fly,
But my wings have been so denied

Down in a hole and they've put all
The stones in their place
I've eaten the sun so my tongue
Has been burned of the taste
I have been guilty
Of kicking myself in the teeth
I will speak no more
Of my feelings beneath

Down in a hole, feelin so small
Down in a hole, losin my soul
I'd like to fly but my
Wings have been so denied

Bury me softly in this womb
Oh I want to be inside of you
I give this part of me for you
Oh I want to be inside of you
Sand rains down and here I sit
Holding rare flowers (Oh I want to be inside of you)
In a tomb... in bloom
Oh I want to be inside...

Down in a hole, feelin so small
Down in a hole, losin my soul
Down in a hole, feelin so small
Down in a hole, outta control
I'd like to fly but my
Wings have been so denied
Not mine I know but some of my favourite poems are lyrics....this is one of my most precious....the one I wish I'd written.

What do you regret most in life ?*
The moments I regret the most were you
The moments I shared with you
The moments I wasted on you
The moments I thought about you
The moments I cared about you
The moments I regret the most
Was any moment that has do with
You
Including every poem
I made about you,
Because you were
The only thing that
Motivated me
I regret it the most

All of it

...
I have periods where I do not speak to anyone / days when I cannot haul myself out of my own bed / nights when I curl up and feel like fading into the night as a ghost /I'm sorry I cannot be a better person to / and for you / because the truth of the matter is that I haven't felt / like a person at all in an incredibly long time / I enjoy the feeling of being hollow inside / like the world has carved my insides out / I do not remember what it is like not to have demons sitting on my shoulder or / voices in my head I'd rather hear than the voices of my own few friend/s

The sun of morning finds your face
a’ glowing sheen on tear swept eyes
Still lost in darkness sad to trace
beneath these azure painted skies
~
To walk alone in sorrow’s fields
with merely but a shadow’s play
This love from deep within now yields,
to hold you as you make your way
~
A simple touch, a soft caress,
upon your cheek in silent feel
Whispered words of true confess
of happiness to soon reveal
~
Feel my arms now hold you near,
falling close around your heart
Gently to reverse your fear
and thunderclouds which now depart
~
To lift a mockingbird this day,
so she may spread her wings afar
In wondrous full of life display,
enough to touch the furthest star
~
Now standing ‘fore this weathered weave,
to break the chains of sad refrain
So that your weary eyes may see,
you’ll never walk alone again

~
For you my sweet friend. Hoping your smile returns

When you find my heart does break
And sadness crawls my every word
So much more than I can take
Of endless streams the mind has heard
~
Never are you very far
To offer thoughts, to dry my eyes
Reminding me just who we are
So comforting within your sighs
~
And soon the sun begins to shine
Along this path of winding flow
Where sparrows sing their songs so fine
In melodies I used to know
~
A cooling breeze does touch my soul
As flowers bloom the garden sweet
Wispy clouds on skies now roll
While feathers gather at my feet
~
This is now because of you
The friendship that your heart does share
The words of happiness so true
I thank the heavens you are there
~
Here you go my friend
I am a **** good woman.

I may not be perfect, but I am. Does that confuse you? I love the way my smile shines when I see my reflection, chip and all. I enjoy feeling my hair blow with wind, or wet upon my back. I can stand **** for hours, gazing at every curve, or lack there of, that has graced my silhouette with its presence over the past 19 years and 7 months. Content.

I am not curvaceous nor too thin. I stand before myself. Just a body that did not ask for it's formation when it was sent from heaven, still holding hips that will bear children, breast that will feed villages, hands to uplift the child.
I am a **** good woman.
I come from a womb of the strongest woman I know. I bleed blood from her veins, bared skin that she's given me. I am molded from great women. Their features arrange themselves on my face, their vocabulary runs rapid across my tongue, memories madly through my mind.
I am a **** good woman
I have loved fiercely with compassion. It is without vanity I have compromised myself to love.
I am a **** good woman.*
How dare you think I am not enough?
I came from your rib! I am a part of you.
I have walked miles for mankind, cried for those before us, hurt from wounds you thought were long healed.
Still, I rise.
Impatient to be loved by a man worthy of my greatness.
A man worthy of the long walks of lonesome, sight seeing of chauvinists and fools gold we mistook as lovers.
However
With or without man I am woman.
A **** good one at that.

Words, like a fragmented mirror, piece themselves together
in lines of poetry.
Some words fit, some words fail,
all that is known, is that one minute these words were individual
now they are knitted together in sentences,
to become for some a resonance

Anybody literate can read and write.
But do they understand?
Can they see and feel the deeper meaning?
Do they hear the poets words?
Emote along with the writer?
Find a chord striking them within?
Gasp at the beauty in the imagery?
Hold their breath as the poet weaves magic?
Inhale the scent of sweat the poet gave?
Jump at the twists and turns?
Keen to learn the ending?
Laugh and cry along with the poet's words?
Mope at the end?
Not wanting to let the words go?
Opining their views, not the poet's.
Positing assumptions not the poet's.
Querying imagery, syntax, metaphors and similes.
Robbing the joy from the poet by making grand assumptions.
Seeking to emulate the greats, and join the canon.
Taking what they need from the words written down.
Utilising the poem as a learning tool.
Venerating  the poet and their work.
Words speaking to them from afar.
Xanthic coloured complexions, as they read into the night.
Yanking at the pages of the book.
Z**ealously impassioned by the poet's conclusion.

Xanthic means yellowish.
Abecedarian Poem — An abecedarian poem is a special form of an acrostic poem, in which the initial letters of the words beginning each line or stanza spell out the alphabet in order.

Draped like a long forgotten shawl
my dreams lie in my mind, covered with a caul.
No second sight was afforded my disillusionment,
my deluded, discarded dreams.
Brittle decaying hope.
Tattered remnants of youthful vigour cling vine like
to my mind. Was I ever that happy?
Or is that an illusion also.
Born of the caul, as a charm to be deemed unable to drown,
so, that's why I failed.
I watch my past on fast forward, skipping to the present.
Strange word present, meaning: the here and now, or a gift.
My dreams are nightmares, my present is no gift.
My nightmares are the gifts of my present

Outside I'm just a woman
inside, just a girl that is lost
.
I seem to have direction
but maybe it's a lie with a cost
.
Setting myself simple goals to follow
as I need a continuous plan
.
It's to tell me where I am tomorrow
incase I've forgotten where I am
.
I can easily fool myself
and it's been working for a while
.
I just don't think too much
about the woman wrapped around this girl
.
Does she really know what she's doing?
Do I have any other choice?
.
Although I'm a woman physically moving
the little girl has lost her voice
Written a few months ago when I really felt that I needed more direction in my life.   It's a feeling that comes round again quite often.
