Stardust
Indeed, everything is stardust,
Yes, you and I both,
The chocolate wrapper blowing down the street,
The cat arching its back as I walk by,
The child skipping, and the rope,
The watching dog, licking its paw,
Nonchalant to the whole world.

The tree in the forest,
The axe ending its life,
The startled squirrel escaping
The grubs feeding on its leaves,
(Visible and invisible)
Land ocean and sky,
All are, and forever will be,
Stardust.

Yet another tribute to all of you who write. You are the true Rock Stars of the Universe.
~
Fiddling on the Roof, as if
Throwing our common soul out
To downpour over the
Houses and streets of Anatevka, now

Abandoned. Seized by
The Tsar.
History.
Such is the soul that writes.

Tells. Thinks. Whispers of.
Records and absorbs.
Carves from Creation.
Dispenses.

Such is the soul that writes; waits
Another hour in bed in the
Morning, knowing
The Early Worm

Gets the beak first.
The Soul that writes is
The quill of the gods; angel
Feathered, timeless and part of

Everything. Say to yourselves
I will write until the only ink
I have is the black in my eye.
I'll learn to write blind from there.*

You would.

You wrote all that has
Ever been
Written.

'Tis a risky favor
to give Despair such sweet flavor
A rich Indulgence
will weigh heavy in your belly
rears your gait not so straight
makes your head start to ache
until your Vision becomes unclear.

I've baked a scrumptious dish
try a bite if You like
Its lighter than Air
not a hint of Despair
comes topped with Stardust drops layered with Love and served with a Hug.

I promise Delight,
You'll be walking on Air
You'll be dancing till dawn
making Love all night long
singing yourselves into a tizzy
until you're dizzy and drifting on Marshmallow Clouds.

Would You Like a Bite?
Oh my that's right,
I forgot the forks and knives
Oh well its a big enough dish
lets All just dive in!!
I must have been bit by a fairy last night
:-)
Once upon a time a young boy who seemed so happy, died
But it was by a blade and tears that he tried to hide.

His funeral was full of people who made everyday bad
His bullies, his abusive boyfriend, and his alcoholic dad

Well on that day
They buried a boy that they never ever actually knew.

Cash, card and mobile, please.*
Had his hood on and made a tough

Face of some sorts as he flashed
What looked like a blade, only

Smaller. Sorry, mate. My phone
Is in my hotel room, my money is

All somewhere between my kidneys
And liver, but I have these two

Fists, and I'm losing my girlfriend as
We speak, so PLEASE come closer

With that pathetic excuse for a knife,
So I can use it to pick what's left of

Your heart from my teeth after
My anger is vented.

I don't care if it's Islington;
Did you hear about the Viking at

Stamford Bridge? I'm back.
Don't
Ever mug a Norwegian.

Don't ever try to mug a Norwegian.
Don't ever try to mug a Norwegian

Poet. I still have £200 in
My pocket. And a tongue as sharp

As anything I've ever been
Threatened with. Boy.

Body stomping
like crushed bones beneath lead feet
my cheek meets the ground
my teeth start to bleed
hi it's nice to meet you
says the concrete to my jaw
I said I didn't know you cared so much
it's not often that I fall

dear dreamcatcher,
i thought you were supposed
to take away the nightmares
not get them *out of my head

and *into my life
i've always believed in dreamcatchers. i guess i like putting my hope in something else.
Food trucks make me nervous
Trying new things makes me nervous
looking people in the eyes makes me nervous
eating in front of people makes me nervous
noises at night make me nervous
the dark
the silence
being alone
being in crowded spaces
open landscapes
tight constraints
freedom
dogs barking
cats hissing
one on one conversations
large group situations
getting help
the thought of staying like this
dying
staying alive
Me
I make myself nervous
but I can't help it

Meandering like its canals
Venetian streets sing underfoot.
Who wore away the stone cobbled streets?
Who walked down to the shore?
Who gazed out at the Adriatic?
Who's dreams were lost in Venice's stream of streets?

Licentious lovers loved in Venice's streets, kissed on her bridges,
Crossed under by gondola and over by foot.
Proposed at the piazza San Marco.
Kissed, while the Grand Canal wound her way down.
Down into the sea,
where the menace that is the world, Venice shuns.

Rialto, Doge, Basilica, St. Marks, pigeons!
All evoke that lagoon city of streets.
Originally refugees, incolae lacunae ("lagoon dwellers")
Venetians, gave not only a place for the dispossessed,
but a place for the world to see, feel and taste.
Art, war, politics, commerce, spice and silk.

Venice with her ribbon of streets, alleyways and bridges
saw the Renaissance, the crusades, and the Black Death.
Glassware, paintings, sculptures, religion, refugees all
synonymous with that floating city.
A city returning to the water she arose from.
Subsiding with grief as she drowns in elegant decay.

You are invincible,
You are vigour of nature
You are all-pervading
Fire cannot glow you
Water cannot humidify you
Air cannot parched you
Assegai can’t engrave you
You elucidate our world
You point up way to our life
You are the source of our
Knowledge and happiness
You bequeath on us the lot
We need in this world
You are our Bathou Bwrai!
Our ultimate soul!
Bathou Bwrai- are two words from Bodo language. Bodo are the inhabitant of Assam. They have rich cultural and economic traditions.
Bathou - Ba means five and thou mean “deep philosophical thought”; Bwrai- the oldest or most elderly man in power and knowledge. The five elements are- Bar (Air), San (Sun), Ha (Earth) and Okhrang (Sky). Hence, Bathou means five principles.
The traditional religion of the Bodos is called Bathou which has been practiced since time immemorial. This religion is invariably linked up with and centre around the worship of Bathoubwrai, the supreme god of the Bodos. Hence it is known as Bathou religion. In Bathou religion, the Sijou plant (Euphorbia splendens) has been widely accepted as the symbol of life or soul .

I am sorry.

Three words that can help heal
Yet we often find it so hard to utter
Our pride gumming up our tongues
So they lay silent, our lips mute
I have never understood that difficulty
To take responsibility
Regardless the action
We are built to withstand pain
Not create it

Look around you.

Pain is an art form
One we have perfected
In what could be the sunset of our civilization
We are still as un-evolved emotionally
As our dawning
Such great pains are taken in the name of progress
Foul atrocities that stain our hands
When working together, as one heart
One whole
We could have sparkled bright in these last rays
Instead we are judge and executioner
With little thought to how we will look
When that sun rises again
Apologize. Swallow your pride. Take the steps to help rebuild every bridge burned. You never know when that bridge will be the only one left when you need to cross.

Optional is not an option anymore.
I will roam
and I will writhe.
I will rally, rebuild.
I will pave a road,
I'll launch a ship.
I'll race a train, I'll run like hell.
I'll **** the marrow from my spine.
I'll hold my head above the moon.
I'll dive in the deep, I'll chase a bullet.
I'll wander out,
I'll slide away.
I'll lead an army and bomb the past.
Declare unrest and start new rule.
Crown a new king,
I'll carve a new stone.
I'll turn a new leaf and I'll sing a new song.
I'll make a new wish
And I'll burn a new bush.
I'll write a new page
And jump in with both feet.
I'll love a new lover
And befriend whom you hate.
I'll start a campaign.
I'll torch down our home.
Then move heaven and earth one inch to the left.
I'll shake. I'll regroup.
I'll push and I'll ****.
Reincarnate
Regurgitate.
I'll weave... I will tide.
I'll bend, and I'll bob, and I'll steal,
*I WILL TAKE! *
Because optional's not an option...
Anymore.

tweaked this a bit, it's a meant to be read in a quickening way, like a drum that gets faster and louder but continues the rhythm. I really appreciate your time to read this.
