Season after season.
I've gazed upon you
through my window.

I've seen the snow hang low
upon your branches.
With white upon red berries.
I've watched the snow melt away
to reveal new buds,
opening,
ever so slowly,
to leaves so green.
In early Spring.

I've watched all the creatures
hop, climb, and fly among
your branches.
I've watched the birds taste
your blood-red berries.
I've seen songbirds...
Nuthatches,
finches, and chickadees.
Come to the feeders.
That hang from you.
I've seen the squirrels steal
seeds from the birds.
As their little paws unlatch
a little hook.
I've heard the birds sing among your
branches.
So sweetly.
I remember when the chickadees
built their nest in you,
and then watched their young fledge.
I remember the year the woodpecker
came knocking at your trunk's door.
As he drilled his beak into you.
And made a hole.
After that.
You were never the same anymore...

I watched your life slowly end.
Another year.
Another season.
More dead branches to be severed.
Fewer buds.
Fewer leaves.
As your story slowly drew to a close.

Yesterday,
they chopped down what was left of you.
But I will always remember you.
And I thank the Lord for the joy
of beholding your beauty.
Of watching your story.
You have blessed so many creatures.
Including me.
Farewell,
Beautiful Mountain Ash tree.

i'll tell you what's ****** up about society
a man in a room filled with women is excited
he is checking every one of them out,
his eyes searching for the one with the biggest *****
and the ones with the big ***,
his eyes scan the pretty faces for the sparkling eyes and by the end,he's convinced that he's in love with the girl with the perfect smile.
he is quick to point out their flaws,
one of them has a button nose
and someone has acne scars on her face
one of them happens to be taller than him
and another one a different race.
he is excited,he is aroused, he wants to get lucky, he want to make new friends by the end of the night.
in the locked room, he wants to have a time that only ***** can make him remember

a woman
in a room filled with men
is terrified.
she buttons up her shirt till she can feel it choking her.
she covers up because she doesn't want them staring at the bits of skin exposed.
across the room, she sees a man winking at her and quietly rubbing himself.
she desperately looks for a safe space, a familiar face,
she looks for somebody from the locked room who can save the day.
the men slowly encircle her and mentally undress her
and with every item of clothing they remove,
she becomes more of an object.
she is anxious, she wants to run for her life, she just wants to make it home safely by the end of the night.

the locked room is a paradise to one
and hell for another
this is actually a spoken word poem. i have been experimenting with new styles of writing since the past few weeks and this is one of the products

would you like to take a walk
through my gardens now with me?
with the loveliest of flower
and the tiniest of pea?

yes?
good,
well come along my darling
now come along it's free,
an let's go to the gardens
to see what we can see

well,
I planted here some garlic
from the garlic bulbs I had
an the bok choy
well it bolted
and I lost it
that's too bad
but still
it had some flowers
though,
so really not so sad,

sigh,
smile now, ; )

see the tomatoes look so happy
lots to can, to cook an share
the cucumbers are plenty
see those guys are everywhere,

those here are purple eggplant
with soft delicate new flowers,
an the weather has been perfect
just so hot with scattered showers

the chocolate mint like poetry
WiLd and prolific
dead head all the marigolds
an boy they grow terrific,

in lovely burning oranges
and yellows
you can eat,
marigolds - nasturtiums
are really such a treat
and eating from my garden
well really can't be beat,

the kale is getting big,
and my peppers hot an mild
the pumpkins taking over
like an ivy envy wild

cosmos and green beans
were started from a seed,
radishes are too,
look-
I snuck 'em in between,

basil and cilantro
rosemary and sage,
I could go on and on
and write another page

but really you should visit
and come to see it now
but thanks for reading this
though vicarious somehow

I'm still happy for to share
my life
and love today
I hope you know I care
an are soon
here on your way
even in grey skies
for the growing I will pray,

and I will be here waiting
tending gardens
come what may.

the gift of Aurora
is coming
I know,

sometime real soon
so I hear

my dancers in skies
a brilliant light show
an as I will await
you'll appear

I will see you transforming
before my brown eyes
in skies of my mystical lights

oh how long you know
how long I have waited
in all of these endless
dark nights,

to see you as spirit
as I'll be once more
well this is a beautiful thing

the drum I can hear it
a heavenly door
an the angelic songs
that you sing

and I will not fear it
the heavenly shore
and the most loving joy
it will bring

for when I die
I know
I will
again
run
in fields of wheat
an lavender
with you.

down the mountains from the clouds from eye corners onto cheeks to riverbeds to the seas oceans feeding life renewing dry grounds fish nip
trees reach out roots people dip their toes in
watch in awe the powers of listen to her calmness
build dams to claim
in the end the flow has her aim
a strength a magnetism of beauty and death power
over our tears the gardens our vegetables energized
and a life down her gravity is taken not
ever feeling killed
much like breath flows

.
Let us linger for a while
upon this sacred mid-stream Isle.

Between the banks of this woodland river,
the flanking tree-scape murmurs peace.
Tinkling drops over pebbles tumble,
eager and away to the sea, its home.
The easy flow of destiny contained
in a dashing continual race.
Birds chatter until the big one shrieks,
its flashing form
diving through the canopy
in search of a mammal to feed its young.
The chorus resumes.
A nervous Doe peeks from dense undergrowth,
constant alertness as she moves,
body trembling in anticipation of attack,
but conquering fear, bends to drink.
Lazy grass and moss so soft
lies underfoot in this magikal place,
the feel and the pull of the earth
brings comfort and peace to the tired body,
tranquility evoked with sight and sound,
soothing the mind with touch and smell,
a sensual cuddle from the Natural world.

Thunder raging
It's going to rain
Clouds are flashing lights
Tightening pressure within my brain
The awe of nature
God above
The force in which
He shows His love
Seasons changing with the heat
With great force He gives us
What we will need
Time to time there is a cost
We are not capable or choose not to understand
Endurance all part of His plan
I pray for the time to come someday
All pain in my brain will go away
This thunder will be but a vibration
Of my past that led me to understand
All is meant to be in
Our Heavenly Fathers plan
Amen
