every wheel will cease to turn
every lesson be unlearned
every tide will ebb away
every colour fade to grey

every truth will prove a lie
every star burn and die
we will all be flying high
stardust in the sky

Makenzie Scott
The distance between  the sun and moon
is a straight line, a few light years, one shooting star
or however many you want.

The distance between the two of us
is silence, a pair of shoes untied,
a walk with too many steps back.

Tie my shoes,  hold my hand.
I will show you where parallel lines cross.

This place in my heart
There...
intimately aware
     Deep tenderness
Imbued with
illuminessence
Moonflowers
opening in the fullness
of the Moon's light
     Tonight
wrapped tight
threads of fear
Mama Pain
too great to fight
     A ragged slice
overflowing
with hurt by
unkind words
thoughtlessly
thrown my way
Self inflicted pain
when I doubt my inherent
Knowledge and Strength
     I know this part
of my heart
that holds
the wounded
collections of me
Keeping at bay
the ache that
lives within
     The Blessing is
that Love
surrounds
Wraps around
with Healing light
Shining within
to Hold The Power
     Allowing me respite
from the Sacred Locket
held in this place of
My Heart

ThankYou for reading...
Heartbreak finds us all.
Mine is in response to my
daughter's ****** addiction.
Having overdosed unknown times in
2 1/2 years, no matter
the heartache, each day
she is with us is precious.
A unique beautiful creature
She is 20 years old.

Currently in her 8th recovery program. Today, she is alive and either succumbs or battles through each day.

Loveless
When the darkness befall from the sky
And the world drowns into despair
On the beginning of a new era
An angel shall come forth
The wings of light and dark spread afar
The way he would choose
Shall be the will of heavens
A poem with various interpretations.
It means what you understand out of it.

Other parts coming soon...

I quiver til I shake,
I tremble,
But won't break,
When approaching you.

My heart, I won't foresake,
You'll not know my mistake,
Although my ground will quake,
When I'm nearing you.

You see, I will retake
The joys, not my heartache,
The day I drive the stake
Deep inside of you;
And finish building the fence
To separate we two.

Walter W Hoelbling
it is the night
lit by the moon
    best if it’s full
that gives strange shadows to familiar things
when poets are supposedly inspired
to write about their pain   their love
     often the same
important thoughts of life and death
their joys of the quotidian   and
that you catch the day
and live it like it were your last

    you never know
    just a split second
and your life has turned into your past

benignly, though, the moonlight introduces softer thoughts
of passion and of the beloved
distant in space but always close in mind
romantic moments lingering in afterthoughts

some times  I think  that if it were not for the distance
that always separates those who have pined
for their reunion
the world’s treasure of poetry might just be half
of what it is today

the same may well be true for all the lines
penned under tears about that unrequited love
addressed to those unwilling subjects of desire
who often  in the course of writing
turn into objects of the writers’ ire

the moonlight’s pristine shine
in fact a mere reflection of the sun
for a few hours of the night
changes our vision
opens up doors to different worlds
full of desire, hope, and desperation
allows us glimpses of ourselves
that daylight never shows

we feel we can speak words
under the pale light of the moon
or the dark corners of the night
that would not make much sense
under the brilliance of the sun

the quiet splendor of the moonlight’s grace
lets us experience that other space
we tend to close and keep apart
in our hasty tour of every day

that’s why
in our few calm moments
we all should listen to what they
    our poets
have to say about the night
the moon’s  strange light
and how it keeps their thoughts in flight

Life is hard
But hey, we got each other.

Love is bitter
But hey, it's worth it.

Thoughts are sweet
But hey, too much sweet is harmful.

Friends are like
Distant stars
But hey, they always watch for us
Even from far away.

Whatever you're going through
Just remember.
You're you.
We are gonna get through this life. Flawlessly. I love you guys **

At first
I thought
you were
a constellation
I drew
a map
of your stars
and then
a revelation
You are
as beautiful,
as endless
as the universe
I'm helpless in
For the girl who
warmed me up inside
Sleeping at last

Another day of anguished waiting
My earthly life, now put on hold
Another day, that I am hating
Of my death, I have been told

My life is now an hour glass
My days, those grains of sand
Veiled by tears, I watch them pass
As I am funneled, to my end

I cannot slow or stop the flow
Each grain, thus bleeds my heart
All earthly things, I should let go
But I'm yet, not ready to depart

My sorrow strikes like lightning
Piercing bolts of what’s to come
My doubts and fears keep heightening
Until deaths hand does me succumb

In this world, I’m just a speck
My life, sifting into death
As that last grain, slips past the neck
I’ll take my final breathe

I wonder if, I’ll fly on wings
Or be prodded by a scythe
Will my remorse, then save my soul
When I am forced, to leave this life
