This is the first
Rush of infatuation
But for romance
to be successful
you have to love a
person's flaws as
well as their imperfections
Romance fades
Infatuation doesn't last
The idea of what you think
love is
keeps you hanging onto
the past
The what was
And could have beens
**** with you head
Wanting so bad
for love to be true
But I'm afraid
it's all just idealistic
And never comes true

Everywhere I went I was always the outsider
In third grade I said I liked a girl, I was a liar
In fourth grade I said I had a perfect family
In fifth grade I said I suffered from insanity
In sixth grade I was pudgy and different
In seventh grade I started losing interest
In eight grade my grades fell to oblivion
In ninth grade I sent roses to a recipient
In tenth grade she told me she loved me
In eleventh grade I was told I was ugly
In twelfth grade the tears didn't stop.

In first year of University
It suddenly occurs to me
That I can find a place to belong
For poetry could not make me wrong.
In second year of University
I tried drowning myself in the sea
It was a huge year of isolation,
That and hating God's creation.
At the end of the second year
I felt loved again,
Picked up a pen
And wrote of romance and love.
In the third year of University
I lost all hope at a love life
But I have already cried,
So I look forward to a happy
and eventful year.

Everywhere I went I was always the outsider
Never could be the average person
Found myself running along the lines of outlier
Rather than ever being picked at all.

I have walked a path and have built a life. Now I shall continue on beyond myself. I choose to give to another the benefit of that which I had to work for. I shall offer a path to enlightenment and higher learning that one less fortunate than I should go beyond me. Though some seek a legacy of accomplishment and adoration, I choose another path. I shall leave behind another person better off than I am, that they may carry on working to improve the world that they shall inherit. Through opportunity and wisdom, they shall realize dreams that I could never dared to have and through my contribution and sacrifices before them, this person shall be my legacy to the world I leave behind.

She is the stained girl,  a diffident dreamer
Who looks for the sun and the rain together
Her  panache is to craft blissful memories
Festooned with vivid thoughts, her accessories

She is the stained girl,  a feeble believer
Who relies on a happy ever after
Yet scared to be seen from her cheerful facade,
Something that would charge her of being a fraud

She saunters in the midst of the piqued storms
Resounding the hues of the jaundiced norms
Like a bird highlighted with vibrant plumes
To fly around the walls of perplexing rooms

She wears the best maquillage, old and new
To make everyone away from being blue
She offers her hair, those gilded strands
Yet they exploit her gift with their vicious hands

She is the stained girl who seeks for uprightness
Yet pain has shaped her with creased faithfulness
In front of a looking glass, there I see
That magnificent, stained girl looks like me.

love grows under the Mistletoe
there you'll find it growing very nicely
as Santa and Mrs Claus
share a kiss neath the pine tree

now that's what I'd like to be
of wreath of Mistletoe
atop the beautifully lit
Christmas tree

how lovely it would be
to see Santa and Mrs Claus
enjoying a kiss or two
in a loving cause

yes! that's what I'd like to be
the wreath of Mistletoe
smiling so happily

I can be some brutal
Or so you say you can tell
But stop and look again
This could be a match made in heaven
For two angels straight from hell

We could sit here
And stare the clock down
Stare it right off the wall
Or dust off our top hats and spats
And strike out on a crawl

Now I know what it is to be drunk
And I know what it's like to be sober
I know what it is to be young
And quickly growing older

The safest bet by a long shot
Is to keep time hung up on the wall
Make believe we can predict
Just which way it's going to go

Shake those dice and give them a blow
By the time they hit the velvet
You know just how it's going to go
We could do it up just like a drug
You don't have to convince me I'm already sold
It's back to throwing out a life line
To draw some heat out of this late winter's cold

Thitherward to Corinth,
Thus wherein mine
Grandfather's dad
Was from. To seeith
The bards of old,
Legends of agora
Soul, mingling
With the
Aegean
Sea. O' the natural spring's
Of healing properties, a place
Of new testament biblical fact
And history. How I wouldst hath
Adored to seeith the apostle Paul,
First known as Saul of tarsus; eye's
Once sealed, then opened; By the son
Of God. Fain were the Grecians, in
Yesteryear's thought. The turquoise foam
Betwixt their homes, the beauty was told
And taught. Hither the Mediterranean center
I want to be, scribbling-scrawling, prophetically.
Breathing in the aura, mine ancestors once did.
Spirit-floating the isle's, of pious hymn's for mankind's sin.
Rendering the prognostication's, told in God's own word's,
Rouse a sleeping nation, that once resounded the laureates shores.

We can say it is easy being a devotee to one,
Though I will say being devoted is a full time effort'
An effort. Not in doubting. Regret, lies, word's to fret.
Giving our whole self to the other
If the other can do the same,
Not for me to question,
Not for me to know
Only our other half knows.
Only him or her that boy or girl.
As far as me
I'm a loyal devotee.

The accuser
Is really the
Predator,

The prey
Always falls victim
To these predators,

And after their done ******
Us victim's,
They
Apologize,
And say they didint realize what they were doing.
How could you not know,
You are the predator.
Us victim's though,
We dust our feet
And get back up.

I drew a circle
On the map
On the steps
Of my flat
A place of
Serenity
Virtue and
Peace. I knew
Before this
Place of seats.
A seat to sit on,
Became recommenced,
Perched on a tree
In a lovely breeze,
High sprung I rung
Past the old self of
M
E.
Taking notes
Learning
Lessons.
Keeping memories
Of morning blessings,
Putting away in a casket
The fears and questions,
Now again I feel caressing.
