Soon it will snow where she is
but here it never snows only sleets,
and ***** little ice pellets
on the streets.

Winter days remind me
how I miss the moon,
how far it is between
autumn and forever,

And how close it is
between you and I,
Proximity-wise,
compared to the unreachable
emotional chasms we create.

Slippery chasms of
sleet and snow…….

                        …..alone..

and when I finally went home

          she didn't even know
          I was gone,

I slid right past her silent sighs
          as if being loved was
          an inconvenience.

within the sweep of sea mist and turquoise
a million white horses play-
and turn to grey and deep green
as the wind has her say which colour permits
out the ever changing skies
a dot of time in a lifetime of watching-
out the windows of life
the horses have gone galloped away

The spring in your steps
And the spring in nature
Playing a match
That let me have a catch
Of a bit of happiness
In all my loneliness

In all my loneliness
This weather makes me
Light as a feather
Dreaming of us together*

Dreaming of us together
In a fairyland
We claim as ours
Where a vast meadow
Filled with flowers
Dancing as the wind blows

Dancing as the wind blows
Taking away my woes
Sun rays kissing our skin
Let the light shine upon us
After reading her poem about cherry blossoms and the brilliant imagery, I was awestruck.

Today I got the opportunity to work with one of the gifted young poets of Hello Poetry, Blythe (I love her description, 'princess in pink'. An imaginative and fairytale look at the life).

Unsurprisingly, she carried the spirit of one of my better poems in a brilliant way and lifted it a notch.

I thank Her Royal Highness Blythe for this wonderful collaboration ;-)

Large moon,
emanating light
through the thin clouds,
and eerie shadows
cast all around.
Enchanting,
yet all the while
haunting.
Shining all
through the night.
Moon, so large,
rising over all.

...
A lovely moonlit night.
Hope you enjoy! :)
In something of a chaotic stupor,
the Moon tells me
(among other things)
to be nice to people
because you can never know
what they're going through,
if you'll ever see them again-
or if you're the last person they'll ever see.
So,
you may as well practice kindness
with every being you meet
no matter for how long.

You never quite know.
You just might make someone's day.
You just might save someone's life.

Worst case scenario, you're being nice,
and that's not really so bad, after all.

I am a timeline of everything I've ever known.
It's copied onto thirty-five pieces of blank paper
and revealed to you in that mundane history course
that everyone naps through.

I can't deny
that among the black waves,
I've seen a sea star or two.
But I seem to be devoutly colorblind
to the silver linings that outline
what I've gone through.

You can't disguise your drowning,
nor can you swim to shore.
You just have to hope
that no one knows what to look for.

Blackhole Soul
Floating high
floating by
floating amongst
the bright blue sky

But even clouds
feel the need
to cry
After the rainstorm
The skies' transparent jewels
Strung on spiderwebs
Sparkle and glint like diamonds
Upon an emerald field

Marshal Gebbie
Precipitant of an evening fog
To coalesce in drops of dew,
Upon green blades of crystal grass
Which mirror shards of love to you.
Shards of love in shades of grey
In opalescent light that falls,
As one with tears of misted rain
To soft caress thy hallowed halls.

Response to a lovely passing cloud.
The white dove wandered through the wool wind and wintered night
Would she ever learn to fly
High winged tilting the sky
No answer flew the ruling wind

New feels the sun, new feels the light,
New day, yes it is a new morning.

Passed has at last the night,
A new day is here before me,
Gone are the stale moments,
New day, yes it is a new morning.

Forget what you didn't get,
Flowers have again bloomed,
Now the cows are mooing,
New day, yes it is a new morning.

So just feel the new sun, feel the new light,
Come here, oh my friend, let me hug you tight.
