SS :
We're headed for a deep DEEP valley
Orange sky in tornado alley
Trouble just around the bend
Are you ready for it friend?
Kids don't have enough to eat
Mom n dad work but
Can't make ends meet
The price of gas is
On the double
Life in this world
Just plain trouble
Christian people in despair
Unbelievers everywhere
Don't want to know
The eternal score
Don't want to listen
Anymore.

AB :
Six kids,
Two jobs,
What's a hard working mother got to do,
To get some hard earned money,
I know that you need it too,
People can't afford vehicles,
So they take the bus,
Why don't the presidents,
Just say yes , to us,
Instead you make us live,
In this demented world,
Heaven and hell still battling,
And what's with teenage girls,
More teen pregnancies in u.s alone,
Why don't they just leave that intimacy alone,
You should be greatful for our lord and savior,
Because without him,
Hearts will be turned to stone,

SS:
There IS a stone...
He's called The Rock....
His existence?
More than talk.
If you don't listen
Tell you true...
Then that Rock's
Gonna FALL ON YOU
Just me and the miss Soulsurvivor collabo hope you enjoy it!!!!!

How can you be truly tough
In this painful world?
How can you stand firm
When the spears of agony are hurled?

Most people in the proud US of A
Don't have a clue of the
price they have to pay.

Western people do not know
What hardship really is.
So gratitude is lacking...
It is this...

Gratitude is having a ***
That doesn't leak,
To walk miles for diseased
Water from a creek.

Gratitude in thanking God
For the dry wood
To cook the rice or millet
For your food.

Gratitude is finding
A pair of shoes
In a garbage heap
That you can use.

Gratitude is finding
Pesos in your hand
When you beg the streets
In a poor land.

Gratitude is escaping
Vicious thugs
Who deal in human
Trafficking and drugs.

Gratitude is Hellen Keller
With no hope
Finding Annie Sullivan
To cope.

Gratitude is having NOTHING
And in pain
On one's deathbed, but yet
The fact remains

They are redeemed
And they have Lord Jesus' grace
So they know that they
Will look in his sweet face.

Being tough is seeing life
As is and still not breaking
Being brave and looking
Not forsaking

Being tough is a
Mental attitude.
Loving God and thanking Him

It's GRATITUDE.**

Bleed! My poet...
Again I say, BLEED!

Let your blood be posted!
Can't you feel the need?

Let the world know your angst!
Let the world know your mind!
Let the world know your joy!
Let the rhythm know your rhyme!

Bleed! My poet...
Again I say BLEED!

Without blood the flesh dies!
Are you dead... indeed?

I see a great many poets posting more
REAL work. Getting down to brass tacks.
That's a great thing to see!

There is nothing wrong with
"Feel good" and nature poetry.
But sometimes the very poets who
Write it are dying inside!

We inhale words and our
Surroundings. The catharsis comes
In our lungs, the mind/soul/spirit.
These very lungs oxygenate the
Thing that keeps us alive... Poetry!
We HAVE to bleed!!!

(better read than dead)!!!!

It's a place filled with red
Burning flames hurting the dead
They didn't listen, but they heard
About the messiah, and all he said

It's a place filled with light
The Messiah's home, looking so bright
Golden gates made of white
Opened for only those who did right

The choice is yours
Hell is wide with open doors
Either stay wrong or right your flaws
Heaven is yours, if you abide by his laws

Light train chugging, working to outrun
Over exerting, pulling along your freight
Sand is running out under the diminishing sun
Fastidiously you tug on your enormous weight

Segmented equal in seven hulking proportions
Weaving between sleeping rocky giants
Assertion in your drive gifted from the high heavens
Borne of light your cargo load of tenants

Silver blurred rays glinting back as reply
As you power your way through
Defying seconds, before the last rays should die
Against odds, delivering what is due

Questing to alleviate my inflicted darkness
Spear of brilliance slicing through my mind
Illuminating the farthest and tiniest of crevices
Nook and crannies that willed me blind

Careful manoeuvring to keep your balance
Through scenic views fraught with treachery
Furiously working to keep your cadence
Hopeful of unloading the load you carry

What lies dormant in that cargo of yours?
What sleeps easy within those boxcars?
What stokes the fire to diligently run your course?
What promises you bear, travelling near and far?

Bales of hope and crates of strength
Supplies of kindness and self-worth
Reside within your immense length
Intact and lay quiet within your formidable girth

Reliant on the light that fuels and feeds
Your axles seem tireless guiding forth those wheels
Thundering over land with the power of a thousand steeds
Armed to your teeth with alloys and steels

Expelling grit and dirt as you pummelled across
Grey-white fumes, shoot up to the sky
Flag flogged by wind, billow and toss
Blaring your whistle as you race on by

Propelling forward, horizon up ahead
There it is...in all its tenebrous glory
Darkened locomotive seething mad with dread
Brace for the clash and the loads the two carry
See "Doom Train"
See "Collision Course"

Out beyond all that are seen and felt
Looking out for what maybe or could be
That never has been experienced before
The quiet imagery that’s been painted
Which traverses the line of conformity
Surrealism seems to take over
Decoding the new found reality

In the eternal dark depths of night,
A single match struck and held aloft
For someone lost and alone,
Can burn as bright as a forest fire.
For a friend feeling alone in the darkness.
I strike this single match.

Do not just merely follow your dreams
Chase after them
Visualize them coming true
Overcoming all obstacle's
Keeping your eyes on the prize
The joy of your dream coming true
You will then inspire others to make their dreams come true
This poem is inspired by one of my lessons in a class I am currently taking.

I know all of the cuts and burns I've seen myself before.
I know all of the twists and turns. I've been down this road before.
Like a Geode, I have Crystals inside.
But on the outside, I'm like any other rock.
so how would you tell me a part from a stone.
I don't have a lot of self pride.
That shouldn't come as a shock.
I've always walked this road alone.
But I'm a Geode.
I'm a Geode.
Though you'd never know till you break me, and open me up.
only then will you see my crystal beauty.
when I'm in pieces and have had enough.
But there's no way of knowing a Geode from Rock.
You won't find out in time, No you won't hear it from the clock.
But if you love them you'll break them.
no matter how tough.
and you'll see the inside shell and if it shines.
You'll never find out if you don't cross any lines.
And it might be rough.
But they just might shine.
I read that Thunder Storms are formed from unstable air.
And I don't know,
I'm just taking some unstable breaths right now.
I didn't mean to start a Storm or anything frightening.
But oh well, Brace yourself. I'm not afraid of lightning.
It's only energy tween earth and sky.
Were all energy but were not as striking as lightning, though i don't know why.
Because We keep our beauty on the inside.
instead of being broken and exposed.
When you broke you chose to heal
we all do it has more appeal.
But why not expose ourselves.
Not every thorn has a rose.
not every rock is a Geode.

As the emptiness cloaks you in robes of loneliness and you sit in the dark, rocking back and forth to the beat of your own heart, its rhythm filling your ears like a distant midnight train clattering over tracks of pain, do you pray to your God ?
Sobbing out tears that shudder through your core as you stare out of the window into some distant world, memories coiling themselves around your soul like the spirit of some ancient snake, is it then that you pray to your God ?

Continually looking beyond you
Wandering and losing the way
The eyes adapted to look outward
Keeping an eye on the whole world
Forgetting to glance within you
Eyes open to the whole world
But closed to the beauty within
The life that awaits your attention
What lies within reflects in the eyes
Capture the beauty everywhere
Eyeing the love that’s all around
