You and I aren’t quite so different,
We really aren’t.

With every feeding came life,
And with every wrinkle,
Death,
Notarized our finite parchment,
Parallel and ultimately mortal.

We’ve shared –
An experience, any experience
And epiphanies congruent pain,
The numerous, the humorous.

We’ve remembered upon
Paths we’ve taken,
Together, apart, and in –
Eras defined by how we
Walked, talked,
Slouched,
Or slowed to a crawl,
Huddled and bled a back.

So come the heave,
The finality in flame,
Make a face for the name,
Let the dead man dream
And take that memory to the grave,
The One, that’s never forgotten
Whilst eternal and reciting –

“I love you,”
I loved every single
One
Of
You.
I wonder what I'll be thinking come the end, "oh ****?"
To save your soul I'd cross the seas
I'd steal a boat and sail the breeze
I'd live life upon the run
Staring down many a guns.

To save your sould I'd search the caves
That lie across our childhood bay
I'd speak to god in a moment so mad
Praying in selfish thoughts so sad

To save your soul I'd go so deep
Into the alley where the homeless sleep
I'd pay a dealer for his woes
And once again off I'd go

To save your soul I'd break the law
Not even I know what I'd do it for
But once thing I know is what I would do
And who I would hurt just to save you...

she knows he dreams about her
like metal to a magnet
thoughts travel backwards
to unending fantasies

time was new
sadness had ended
love flourished like
a thousand gardens in spring
that was then

she knows now
her thoughts too
travel back to love
when it was brand new

The breeze is gentle,
the sun is vibrant orange.
Knowing     this is right.
the trees standing tall
Preparing me for battle.

~~¤~~

I laid my body
On your top
Pressed against yours
To take a nap

Arms were wrapped
Around your chest
We had that moment
As our best

You searched and found
The finest gold
A gem only you
Can touch and hold

I offered like wine
My kisses so sweet
We learned to dance
In the same beat

You gave your soul
United with mine
Moans were poems
With perfect rhyme

Tears flowed from eyes
For a little while
The pleasure and pain
Still made me smile

And your sweat drops
On my smooth skin
Like perfect rain
That I have seen

I can't forget
That perfect night
We shared one love
One dream, one light

I'll sleep on top of
The perfect space
For you are my home
My safest place

Why didn't you stay and fight?
Why didn't you try harder?

My chest aches
My heart sinks
My body tenses

There is a hole in my stomach
and I wish I could dry my eyes
but all I see is what they refuse to hid

everyone is happy
with a lover or friends
and I'm in drowning in emptiness

Why the **** isn't anyone offering me a hand?
