The swirling jewel that is the ocean crawls up the beach before me. A magnificent beast to behold, it is frightening, yet calming in its majesty.

Like silk, soft sand runs through my fingers and over my feet. Waves collide in my ears. The scent of salty, sun dried palm fills my lungs.

A hermit crab the size of a penny approaches and takes a seat before me. After a short break it saunters off leaving a ribbon in the sand behind it extending for what seems like miles.

Warmth engulfs me and awakens me from my day dream as it slips past a dense cloud. Reflecting on the shimmering ocean are past lives I’ve reveled and regretted. I hear laughter and crying. I feel pain and joy.

I gaze up to witness the sun. The omnipotent star floats just above its destination. As it descends towards the water, and the shadows on land stretch away from it, I sit and watch the colors change.

A painting develops on the grand theater of the sky, and brushstrokes of blue are transformed to purples. Intense yellow marks blaze a deep orange but never stop changing as the brush dips into the ocean.

Breathing slowly guides my way forth. A feeling ignites within me and grows with each breath exhaled. This flame silences the demons and I can feel their presence cease. Not all of them can be vanquished, but I know that with time on this beach I will heal.

Another year gone past,
another year about to start.
Do we still welcome the sun?

No matter how far we run
or how fast,
it just won't last.
What it is to perish in the face of spring?

Of all the gifts that misery can bring,
would there be enough rain
to empty my veins?
Can we still make it to the next war?

The angels looking down at the creatures God abhors,
Lucifer looking up from his hide,
smiling eyes filled with pride
at his brothers, in disguise of anger and hate.

At the dead-end, when happiness is the bait,
a petty choice between a truth and a lie,
let me choose to neither live nor die

Have you ever thought about your life without the demanding concept of time? Chances are you probably can’t, one of the very first things we learn is how to tell time. You know the year, the month, the day of week, right down to the time of day. You have tiny clocks on your wrists, some hung on your walls, there’s one on your screen and even your car. It’s funny how man is so dependent on time. Surrounding ourselves with a paralyzing concept that only man endures. When all around us in nature time is simply ignored, the birds are  not late, and wolves don’t fret over the passing of birthdays. See the world around us lives free while man suffers from the fear of time running out.

Notes on a guitar,

Hard and beautiful,
Like a relationship; you must learn!

Notes on a guitar,

Loud and free,
Like a riot, standing up for what you believe!

Notes on a guitar,

Electric and proud,
Like a nightclub of dancers, the sound!
If you like it let me know :)

The shaking,
I can feel it in my whole body and soul,
Is it nervousness?
A twitch?

I think it's more feeling the vibration of life,
Everything is moving,

So I call it the shaking,
A movement,
A groove,

It helps when i'm feeling uncertain,
Or am just feeling in a mood,

I shake, I twitch, I let it all out,

I flick, I move, I shake it all about.
If you like it let me know :)

Cool as grace and common as an *** in love
with wisdom and loved by love---
Therefore in sorrow and joy, yeh,
We marry and rejoice---
Continuing to love his children, sunrise and purity,
We love and thrill to the aliens,
Acting like lions from the sky---
In the fifty-foot hole of the woman,
A pale witness in paste---
She’s happy now, compassionately
She grovels by nightmare’s light---
There are cool nephilim and graceful moonlight---
Gratefully Nihilists are pure as titittes,
she slammed into me one night
exploding into gamma light---
Save her tittties, that wll stop the prima donna
who can hear the echoing shelling---
That self-portrait of Jesus hangs in the Louvre
In Abu Dhabi no one knows it---
He walks forty miles
to stand face-to-face with himself----
Cool as a nephilim,
She has brown eyes too---

less than i should,
i keep these foamy
fog-soaked memories
on hold-
pleading with the gods
"no yelling, not tonight"
and the rain relents

i feel a little safer
with just a few clouds
the stability is warm
unlike my hands,
and the majority of my heart
but i'm still here-
right?

or am i just pretending,
sometimes i do bleed
just to check if i am still alive.
sometimes i don't want to breathe-
that's okay too;
i'm on my journey
i'll find my way
a lot of xanax goodnight

but i am putting it down
until it hurts
and grips me vicariously
'til i'm twisted around-
i'm turned into a mug's handle

it's the same plastic feeling
i had before
i miss the solid glass,
and the strips of wood
i teased with my angel fingers

the mirror couldn't see me
today
i didn't let it.
how could i?
my eyes are too small, here

shaggy planet earth
was invaded in 1981
beginning with my first soul:
i was so young
i didn't know better

tossed out, i'm left to drink up
the abundance of this world.
swallowing more light and dark
than my small eyes can;
i turned to ethanol.

hemingway entered my life
in the fall of '09
i couldn't have been more in love.
maybe that's why
i'm pen in one hand, drink in the other.

I wouldn't even recognize you,
nor you I.
How we have changed and grown,
how the years and loves
have formed us.
How the trials have toughened
or beaten us.

I hope you are well.

I hope that the world has not
stricken the love from you,
and that the lives which
surround you and which you surround
still smile upon your kind soul.

I hope you have not been beaten too much.

I hope you have faced down more trials
than have faced down you,
and that the things which you have conquered
have been strengthening instead of
diminishing to your spirit.

Of all hopes, I hope that you still
find a reason to smile
every day.

Winds howl through stricken streams,
From the moonshined mountains spiking Tennessee.
Steaming copper pipes protect like turpentine,
Cherish the soil from vine to wine.

Sweetwater medicine crosses Big Sky Country lines,
And a Capitol drowns voice's reedy rhynes.
The Carolines and swamps round' New Orleans,
Spokane's foothills spire like Woodland's Cherokees.

Mushroom clouds swooped ponderosa pines,
In the desert one day, made the earth cry.

Oh Beautiful, not time to flee,
The Jersey Wetlands or Houston's calamity,
Analogous feats, magnetic societies,
Build a bridge across contrary beliefs.
