To my desire
My dreaded dreams
My Fearful sorrows that never leave
To my soulless body thats torn to bits
I see the darkness from within
My sleep devours me
Yet I believe
The light Betrays me
I yearn to breathe
The air is toxic
the ocean's deep
I drown in the bitterness of the sea
To the skies of Infinity
The heavens of love
Here I strip my flesh to you and bare it all
no secrets be left untold
I fear no more
To you I cry
For me I mourn
Im buried within the mothers womb
nourished by her greatest fruits
Watching and waiting
The Rebirth begins
Here I am...a whole new me...

My words are drying up, one by one by the storm inside
Your words, "I need something different"
"you'll find someone else" added to all the lies
Once promises I'd make a home in
Now I haven't seen the world sober in so long,
Why ask me how I'm doing when breaking up with me
Was losing the right to know whether I'm dead or alive.

lost girl
i know the moment i fell for you.

it was when the skies were bright
and there was a twinkle in your eyes.
you were shaking your head
at something i said,
you were smiling widely
and your head was slightly bent.

i knew in that moment i was completely and utterly *******
and it was all because of you.

I sit in bed—
Usually at night—
Possessed with thoughts of you.
They run around in my head
And in my heart
And in my stomach.
Logging feet and meters and kilometers and miles and leagues.

And when I see you—
Sometimes during the day—
My heart begins to beat
Much in the same way it beats
When I see clowns
Or darkness
Or large crowds
Or people who I met once at a party and bonded with but now my sober personality is not quite as uninhibited to talk as we once did
Or any of the other things that terrify me.

And when I hold you—
At many different times—
The weight of your head on my chest
Is heavier than
The weight of your head on my chest
Because there’s also
The weight of your being on my chest
And that also makes my heart beat faster
But I think that’s just a circulation thing.

There are times—
Sometimes in the mornings when you wake me up
Sometimes in the mornings when I wake you up
Sometimes in the middle of the day when you make me laugh
Sometimes in the middle of dinner when we sit in silence
Sometimes in the middle of the night when I feel your breath—
When those words want to come out
But the muscles don’t work
My tongue and my lips
Forget how to move
And form the sounds.

Ah
Ee
L
Uh
V
Uh
Ee
Oo.

Easier done than said.

I’m noticing you.
Your eyes are weighed down,
And your smile is fading away.
You’re throwing your life into an empty bottle.
The more you struggle,
The harder it is for you to wake up every morning to what seems like another wasted day.
As if the sun doesn’t touch your skin anymore,
Your pigment is disappearing along with your eagerness to live.
You have a wound from an arrow,
That has yet to close over.
But listen to these words darling,
Continue your life but not the way it is.
Dedicate to one thing that makes the butterflies in your stomach flutter,
That makes your mind float away into the clouds,
And that makes your smile appear again.
