Autumn Rose
The last firebird flied
over her as she stood
on the last crumbling
mountain.
Prickley pine trees
shivering above the dew,
the first breath of the
winter in her soul was
icing through the flowers.
She fleed the Golden-emerald
city, heart broken by the
gong of war.
Sinking her nails deep into
the ground.
Sheding tears of a dragon
from the crystal eyes
of the universe.
Falling down
her porcelain face.
A work of art.
Her lips red,to seem like
cherries in the spring.
Casting a glance at the pale moon
while the wild wind was
howling to the north.
Ruler of the skies
as the morning stars sang together,
looking different today.
In the shadows of her lace fan,
the silky blossom on the
kimono dress.
Embroided with the silver thread
of moonlight, encrusted with
the diamonds of night.
The great ocean waves can't destroy
her purple throne.
Although left all alone, she will
never surrendor.
The obediance will suffocate
from her light, rising like the sun
after the dusk once again.
Because she is... the Empress

some people never leave.
they're always inside you,
crushing your glass bones,
and setting fire to your paper heart

some doors shouldn't be opened, but humans have such a violent need to be loved,
so we break the locks and let the demons in

i think how we need to be loved as adults stems from our childhood (or lack thereof).

if you were abandoned, you need to be smothered, to know every second that you're adored. but as a child you were always alone, so the very love you crave makes you feel suffocated and crawling white knuckled to get out.

and so this war rages inside of us, until we have exhausted ourselves & perhaps those who were brave enough to extend their hands.

you cannot burn down history
it's not made of wood,
but hearts, skin,
and that empty feeling in your chest

i want to be the reason there is light inside your eyes again. the reason you worship the sunrise, instead of clinging red knuckled to the end of each dying day.

we are old buildings
covered in the scent
of abandonment
but once we were loved
and someone cared enough
not to let the dust settle

you'll find her writing poems on cemetery flowers, and reading them to ghosts who aren't ready for goodbye

Remember the sandcastle
that we used to build?

It took some time
but little did we know
we have handcrafted our future

it was a hard work and patience
Passerby's liked it, others did not
but what do they know?
We had fun building it!

We were diligent to fill
it with sand
Sand that was formed
into an art of love
A castle that we both own

Yes, you will be the king,
and please, call me 'milady'
We will rule the kingdom
No negativities shall come in

Not until when we came back
Those sands of promises and memories
become pain
Everything was ruined
when the waves washed
our dreams away.

I wanted to tear his mask,
but he told me not to do it again,
he then swam in the depths of loneliness
I've always wanted to know his fears
since only I could see his dreams,
but he has shown how strong he could be
I ask him questions, he never answers
sometimes, he would laugh
a laugh that would strike your healing heart
he would smile too
a smile that would vanish gloomy clouds away
but what about his eyes?
I see no glimmer,
must be a fountain of lies
he just lifted a dying soul,
maybe he is a hero or could be a villain
but what is the truth?
Again, I tried to pull his mask off,
but he ran away
and never came back.
