Coloured leaves and a bright blue sky,
The way it looks to an artist's eye.
A day of loving, goodness, kind.
The emotion in a poet's mind.

These are the days of a splendid fall
Given to us, one and all
Who are blessed to live in a land
With seasons of 4 painted grand.

Fall leads to Winter and we can’t wait for Spring
A beautiful Summer it is sure to bring.
Each has its pleasure and treasures to share
But yet we have favourites and dare to compare.

Each time I catch a breathtaking sight
I say to myself, “Well, this one just might
Be the most beautiful I’ve seen.”
Then with next season I don’t remember where I’ve been.
The peace and perfection of a new fallen snow
Is just as beautiful as seeing a fawn and a doe
On a newly formed Spring afternoon.
And if you dismiss one over the other you’ve spoken too soon.

The fun and the frolic of a sweet Summer day
Lingering lazy; the best times, many will say.
But autumn with crisp chills and rustling leaves
Just take a look; brilliant tapestry it weaves.

Each day I look ‘round me and give thanks for my life
I dwell in a place free of war and of strife.
I love my country, home, fellow man.
I know I am lucky. I know that I am.

i wish i could change my stars
wish i could reach them with my hands
place them in my eyes
mold a new fate
start anew

i wish i could erease the past
wipe it clean
paint a new begining
a new me
a new you

i wish i could create new words
gift then to you
so you could sing them to me
play them on your strings

i wish we could love as we once did
forget what was
bleed a new story
spoil us with love and happiness

i wish for so many things
to change our stars
our lost love
our forgotten hope
but the stars are far away
and my grasp is too weak
to hold you in my arms
always loved the idea..

Find me here,
I've forgotten you already.
Images from a distort memory,
Re-invading my soul.

I live as if I don't know you,
To see you arises my heart.
A glitch in forgetting,
Re-awakens everything.

Your continually breath, taking,
So hold me now from this, shaking.
You leave me frightened and in awe,
Like the first love I ever saw.
Continually breath taking!

Memory loss, what a curse,
To drown me in a pit of hell.
The loss of all you've ever loved,
The names of all you could ever tell.
To see you here again...
Just see you once again!

...And I remember, everything,
These memories in song they sing,
Forgetting life without you,
To live in a world without two!
Your...

Continually breath, taking,
So hold me now from this, shaking.
I've been frightened and alone,
Your the first love I've ever known.
Continually breath taking!

Continually breath, taking,
So hold me now from this, shaking.
...but memory's going once again,
and I know I'll see you,
I'm not worried...
Your continually breath taking!

The way you look at me sometimes
Often sweeps my mind away
Only leaving images of your beauty
To help my mind pass the time of day

The look which I see upon your face
Needs not words to let me know
What your look does express so vividly
For only my heart understands it so

This day has learned to decipher
All the precious looks you send my way
No longer leaving me to ponder
Why you wanted me in your life to stay

As I receive the loving gaze you send my way
Which becomes the best part of my day
I find myself eagerly waiting to return
A look of love to you in that same special way
A captivating love....

BREATHTAKING
I would hold my last breath for you.
Hold it tight and never let go.
I feel a spark from far in my heart.
A trigger captured in my eyes.
A vision, a perfect image.
Held close while sleeping.
Omitted when awake,
pardon me not,
for these things,
for I do not understand,
Sparks generate fires at times,
leaving fingers charred and burned,
So for now at least desires concealed.
My breath is released.
Your precious image is saved,
So I can dream more,
until our next meeting.
Our eyes will rest.
Fast asleep in beautiful dreams.

As she holds a pen between her fingers,
She thinks of you,

As she starts writing on an empty paper,
She writes about you,

As she speaks about love in her poetry,
She speaks about you,

As she weeps her heart out while writing,
She weeps for you,

As she lends her pen to her thoughts,
Her thoughts are for you,

For you're her tragic poetry,
She's your poet she writes about you.

There are infinite colors in the world, but nothing is comparable to the colors of your soul
