Imagine a world,
Void of peace,
Empty of life,
No longer free.

Imagine a world,
Where trust is forgotten,
Lies come to reign,
Truth is corrupted.

Imagine a world,
Where hearts are empty,
Hands are needed,
But no one is lending.

Imagine a world,
When time comes to pass,
Clocks are reversed,
People become mad.

Imagine a world,
Where ash is the air,
Humans breathe fire,
But nobody cares.

Imagine a world,
Where love is forgotten,
Peace is envied,
Yet people are rotten.

Imagine a world,
Where crying is normal,
Tears are everywhere,
Nobody's formal.

Imagine a world,
Where corners aren't safe,
People spit fire,
Leaders breathe hate.

Imagine a world,
Where rain is no more,
Embers are everywhere,
Down to earth’s core.

Imagine a world,
Where sorry is lost,
Can't find its way,
Through all the wrongs.
Hoping these will stay dreams...

In the beginning it was "it"
Then it changed to "I"
Then "Me"
Then "We"
Then few years down it was "I" again
In ashes was I and then referred as "it" again

The snow is thin and pale today
like that girl –
you thought –
from the Home Depot –
the palette of an empty day

I think, instead
to smooth my hand along your arm
extend dominion 'cross your chest
To till the damp ***** of your shoulder
in surging heat
of earthen tones
to find in winter flames
your brow, your cheek, your neck

...your mouth that way...

This is the braille I'm all about
being far-sighted
and just too close
to even focus on you –
your eyes –
and all
the loss
these days

Stuck

yours truly
Always on the run,
running from everything.
Never pleased, never happy,
just lost in your own way.
Can't sleep, cant breath;
everything is pushing in.
Everything seems to be gone while your
stuck,
stuck in the wind.
Stuck in your own mind.
You're watching, judging, and assuming
You don't understand why I do what I do.
Why I obsess over little things.
So stop trying to
The world is my oyster
But without the beautiful pearl
Just a plain old shell, in a plain old world

It's a shame you'll never know the brilliance
All you're capable to understand is the madness.
Insane, sane
Heart, or brain
Ferocious , tame
Take two breaths and stop breathing all together.
Turn your self to useless energy, forever.

Welcome to mind of the mad.
The queen of the asylum
A dapper old castle in the brain of a girl.
Who is tortured yet pampered in her own little world.

I searched the ocean for my long lost treasure,
Only to forget about it and lose it forever.
I tried to dive deep, keep it together.
Searching for time just to discover,
It never existed.

I thought I had oxygen, I thought I’d be safe.
But turned out to be nothing when compared to the waves,
That pushed and slammed me back and forth,
Releasing my heart and stealing my core.
I’m nothing without it.

Fish everywhere of all shapes and sizes,
Some swimming in the open and some only hiding,
Never being revealed to the rest of the planet,
Nothing caring for them, holding their hand and,
Letting them win.

Their magnificent colors turn red into blue,
If I chose when to leave it wouldn’t be soon.
Fins shimmering through golden sunlight,
Holding all of them and nothing to lose sight.
No fitting in.

Every fish is different and sparkling with colors,
Never to be looked at and compared to another.
Because, quite honestly, that would ruin it all,
Comparing two fish by a mere flaw.
Life’s not a game to win.
