Scary laugh lines
Hide the pain
The eyes wide open, heavy
Wanting to rain the darkness
To see the light within
Withheld to masquerade
The dark side of life
One master stroke
To finish the piece
When the artist and the portrait
Merge in one
Some works of art
Fill you with both, fear and sadness
Touches your core!!

When I'm with you
My worries
My cares
My wounds
Blows away
Gone like a kite
With its string held
In your grasp
Important
is
different
from
priority.

Maybe you are
important to someone,
but are you one of his priority?

The Master

The Master had a dog
And a docile goat.
Once he went through
Jungle in the boat.

There, he left his dog
Known as bad hat.
The dog returned home
And received a pat.

The Master's was then
A sweet darling pet.
It made the dog happy,
The goat very upset.

The goat annoyed none,
Made no mistake.
Still she was ******* to
A rusty iron-stake.

You were born near the warm ocean,
grew up around there,
With your clear acrylic smile
and sun-kissed blonde hair

I, the winter cold
More north than I can remember,
We met that day you visited,
a brisk chill, that December

We drank and danced,
while the years passed over
Argued and grew apart,
our greatest fears, now sober

My memories of you, once treasured
Now, faded
as sun deprived lands complain,
Forever, jaded

Out of sight, out of mind
Neglecting the unknown reality

As I lay here weeping quietly
into my pillow,
My feelings of loneliness
And separation from the norm.
I try to remember back
When I was young.
When I would run to
my bedroom, hide and cry.
It hurts me so to say,
So too I am today.
