When did we forget how to feel?
We forgot how to be.
As a society as a whole.
This world we live in forces us to label how we feel.
So we choose depressed.
But why?
We label every feeling that isn’t normal as
“Depressed”
When really.
Were just sad for the moment, Stressed for the day,
Happy right now, And lost for this hour.

“Depressed” Is a mental condition.
I see dark when you see light.
You see sad i see normal.
I don’t feel happy the way you feel happy.
But you don’t feel sad the way i feel sad.

I stand here trying to reevaluate this situation.
I want YOU as a human in this society
to remember how to feel.
No label your emotions
in such a broad term.

WE are humans.
We have emotions.
This does not mean we are depressed.

I see Facebook posts, and Tweets, And instagram captions
Saying how these people are “Depressed”
When yesterday they were loving life.
This “Depression” i feel.
Is not day by day.
Its something i wake up with
its something i go to sleep with.
Because you are sad today
doesn’t mean you will be sad tomorrow.

Food for thought.
Peace.
I think this is a big problem in our society so just wanted to share my thoughts
Eighty years
to love,
Twenty-nine thousand, two hundred days
to leap,
Seven hundred thousand, eight hundred hours
to learn,
Forty-two million, forty-eight thousand minutes
to laugh,
Two billion, five hundred and twenty-two million, eight hundred and eighty thousand seconds
to live,
One lifetime
to leave…
"I wonder how many stranger’s stories
we make it into?
You know, maybe someone
saw you in passing
and told their friends about
how pretty the girl in the lavender sweater was.
Or maybe they overheard you say a joke
and repeated it to their friend, confessing that
they heard it from some guy
at the store."

easy,
it could be so easy
simple, painless, fulfilling
life could open opportunities
for both your heart and mind
it doesn't even take an effort
but it's like you don't even try

unconditional
doesn't come free with you
you speak so many words
all often unproven true
things could be different
if you just come through
things could be heaven
if you only knew.

When you loose someone you love
It changes you.
You're never the same person you were before.
You adapt. You adjust. But it still hurts.
It hurts because that person mattered to you.
Because you'd hoped that person wouldn't leave.
It hurts, because deep down you hoped with everything you had,
that that person would be the one person to stay.

You don't ever really recover from pain like that.
You grow. You learn. But you don't forget.
You never forget.
