You used to mean
E v e r y t h i n g
To me

Now you’re just lilac petals
Crushed under my
Heel

-over you

I have to forget.

That's all I can do
if I want to be anything
like I used to.

When I was whole,
when my heart was in one piece.

A few months before
your careless love destroyed me.
Two beautiful birds
Sit next to one another,
Watching the sunset.
Undoubtfully Beautiful and so Painfully Fleeting.
i find peace
that i can share my thoughts with you.

thank you beyond words.
Sometimes I suddenly wake
Scared, anxious, nervous
Flooded with memories
Of a familiar stranger
And the scariest part
is this image, of myself,
so vulnerable, so happy

next to him.

The sirens of ambulances carrying bombing victims lulled children to sleep. Mothers, many of whom were widows, were torn between mourning or thanking the deceased.
A painful dream never
Ending and my heartaches
And beats PALESTINE every
Day and I stop and pray for
Every suffering PALESTINIAN today.
