She is a con-artist.
She make people believe things
that are not even true.
She is a fraud.
She make others believe her facade.
She is great,
for she made everybody believe she’s
strong,
confident,
and
fine.
When in reality,
if you look behind the mask,
if you strip her away of her pretensions,
you’ll see everything:
her flaws,
insecurities,
weaknesses,
self-doubt,
anxiety,
depression,
and
loneliness.
You just have to look closer,
to see past her smiles,
her laughs,
her tears.
See past her physical looks,
and look at her.
Speaking my heart
to people I love
I broke down so terribly early.
Speaking my heart
through love and through art
I broke down these feelings that haunt me.

I want to be there
When you let your hair down,
And when you talk about your day:
Every person that got under your skin.

I want to see the kinks and curls
Each golden wave and blue pool—
The ones that draw me in.
And the curve of your perfect smile

I want to mend the
Broken and bent emotions
That you’ll never want to share.
But maybe after my begging your mind will change.

With the position I’m in, I’ll never be seen,
I’m a name and a face constantly in the crowd.
I can barely yell for you and cheer you on,
Yet somehow I still wish to be there.

When you let your hair down.
but would you want me to be there?

Can't cry anymore
this pillow absorbs all my tears
to give me a happy sleep,
far from the negative ones.

It asks me to redefine
what it means to be alive,
"To be faithful to mother earth,
while dreaming of a happy world"
It shrinks
sometimes
It grows
from too much heat
or too much cold

sometimes
it’s hard
sometimes
it’s soft
sometimes
it wiggles
when I cough

sometimes
it’s new
sometimes
it’s old
sometimes
it’s shy
sometimes
it’s bold

don’t need a spare
but I have two
I don’t know what
they really do
I hate to say
I hate to mention
but sometimes they both crave attention
it’s not profound, or even trippy
I’m only talkin’ bout
my nippies
Still, the sun has not yet
made her appearance in my day.
If you feel this way,
sometimes that’s okay.
She will shed her light
when it’s her time
to shine.
