You see them as  an apple a pip a twinkle
in your eyes, they are your strength with
there beauty and with a single word a tear
can fall from your eye. "I love you daddy,

They sit on your lap and are giving loving
embrace there listening to your words as if
there minds were a chase, to hear you speak
to learn from that man that they look up to
a superman without the dodgy red cape.

We teach them life lessons, the way we were
taught, but with our twist of the now, new
and improved. We teach them manners,
Please, pardon, thank you.  they don't cost
anything but to some a simple few syllables.

We are the mirror they look upon to act upon,
to learn lessons for what we say and do is a
thought that stays within. be that guardian
but let them be free, for they are our legacy
that we cherish with smiles and love.

For those fathers where that moment has
happened, where those footsteps no longer
come down the hall calling your name.
I'm so sorry for your loss but believe me they
loved you even though words never spoke.

Know that every moment they were here
a little prince or princess, there here in
the metaphorical aspect. You saw them held
them in your arms, called them their name.
They still love you even though there not here.

But last on my lists are the fathers that aren't,
those not there for there little ones to hold them tall,
not respect the seed that you brought to this
world. Know the mother can be a father too,
she'll teach them everything from right & wrong.

Know that man that even though wasn't there at
birth, will be that substitute that you never where,
never wanted to be one. Never bored of teaching them
with mothers wishes, listening through there tears
and what you never could be,
And one day will call this stranger daddy not you.

"Happy Fathers Day,
*"They are our smiles, our calling to teach,
I don’t like brown mustard
Or an ice cream cone that leaks
I don’t like asparagus
Green beans, squash or beets

I don’t like to wear new shoes
They pinch and squeak a lot
And I don’t like cold weather
Or when it gets too hot

I don’t at all like spiders
Or other crawling things
Any creepy crawly
That bite…or worse…they sting!

I don’t like commercials
The things they try to sell
Who on Earth would need or want
A digital dinner bell?

Mowing the lawn can drive me mad
I might buy a horse
To eat the grass I have to mow
But that’s absurd, of course

There are some things I really like
I might list them all sometime
But this poem’s already 6 stanzas long
And I don’t like long rhymes
Just feeling silly I guess

If my God sacrificed
   His only Son for
   A manwhore like I,

Why should I be
   Unwilling to lay down
   My life for His glory?

I pray to die a death
   That will have His name
   Upon my lips when I
   Speak my last words.

I am but a lone man
   Rebellious in flesh
   Aloft in my desires.

Almighty I pray;
   Clean my heart
   With Your Spirit.

my heart.
feels weighed down.
it has been carved out
the moment I feel safe.

you leave me
with the key I presumed
you would handle with care
the locksmith closed down.

luckily, I had a couple of spares
but, they are hidden away,
I thought I hid them well,
I spared them for safety.

I knew that they could not be copied,
they couldn't be recklessly handed out,
I'd done that too much,
had so much stolen from me overnight.

I don't think my life would bear another break in
I have one left and I've hidden it so well,
I don't even know where it is anymore.
Which I think in the end might be a good thing.

The person who claims that key will naturally know how to obtain it, even if I don't.
Considering they are the only one with the last copy.
It's an old question.
Pilate asked.
Keats told us.
It's what we believe.
A lie is truth.
Some lies may coincide
With my truth,
But never quite the same.
There's always a bit of truth
In every line.

In awe you gazed upon the blue ocean of sky,
And black spots like tears feel down.
Looking as they fell closer. impending needles
Upon the waiting flesh of unsuspecting
Mortals,
Vessels,
Victims
Unknowing of their own arrived fate,
As slender tears discarded from high
Above found flesh, and the quill did
Burrow as was consumed
A shadow remained of what had stained
On soft tissue,
Then the noise beckoned forth from those
Lacerated by feathers fallen like wailing
Tears from clear blue.
Squalls were heard as from impact, like black
Petals flowering from the seed,
Feathers,
Obsidian,
Shimmered
In the birth of darkness's creation
Talons where nails now clawing
Human remains away,
In insanities confusion of thoughts now
Between two worlds.
Clawed at those of human design,
Onyx greeted crimson and screams greeted suffering,
As all now tainted
On the flowering of slated feather
Birthed once again and the flock
Rejected,
Sight,
Humanities
Tainted plight, as all feather dressed in proper
Order did fly into the blue sky.

"Mummy,

"Yes dear, what is it,

As she pointed in to the vast blueness above their heads,

"I don't know baby,

"They look like black tears mummy,
*"Like tears from heaven,
I've a heart full of dead roses
For lost loves I've never chosen
I pleaded with death and jumped over the devil
I'm telling you now, it's a whole bunch of trouble
Keep in mind, I am insane
I told you, I poured the pills down the drain
Please believe me
This disease is so ******* deadly
My mind, it totally upsets me
Cranking me down into something so deathly
Can you see me, when I'm just around the corner of your eye?
Truth comes proden sly
Can you hear the ringing inside?
If you do, that's just a sign
You're going insane with me
The flowers fill out and cover the smell of the deathly
Goliath never
Praised his wife,
Never said
He loved her.
He came up short
Of his intent,
She felt more worthy,
Had to vent,
So stole off from
The Philistine camp,
Crossed the sands
Like a vamp,
To join Israelites
Preparing
For the final fight.

A challenge
Came
From the Giant,
To send out one
To die defiant.
David rose
In shepherd's clothes,
Goliath's wife
Lay near.
When David reached
For shield and spear,
She handed him
A bra.
Her over the shoulder
Boulder holder
Had Philistines guffaw.
Her Double D's,
Once there to please,
Brought Goliath
Grovelling
To his knees.
He lopped off
Goliath's head,
Enjoyed the same
Back in bed.

The lesson taught?

It doesn't matter,
Tall or not,
Be sure to
Tell your wife
She's hot!
In front or behind every great man....
