Let the weight of the world go,
Like morning frost
Beneath dawn's tender touch.
Spread your worries over the earth,
Not as stones, but as seeds.
Watch how fresh roots
Will comfort your despair,
Nurturing it into strength.

Then emerge with resilience,
As daybreak’s first steady breath
Calm, enduring and inevitable.
Do not dwell on others' requests;
Your heart knows its needs,
Longing to become more
Than just something.

Wishing to be whole and unbroken
By time's constant haste.
While adrift with your name
on the wind's tongue,
Carried by the breeze
That understands the truth.
These winds have carved mountains
And have ridden the tides
Of wild, untamed oceans.

Take a moment to compose yourself.
Your respite is not submission,
But the gathering of thunder
Within the lull before the storm breaks.
It is a deep breath before your voice
Awakens the sleeping sky,
The dawn holds its breath in waiting,
As the burden lessens with time.

Between the worlds
of dreams and reality,
lives the truth we
sometimes fail to see.

Beauty dwells
in both these parts
in dreamy hopes
and candid hearts.

They see your smile, but not the miles
Of battles fought when your worries pile.
Your quiet strength, your hidden pain,
The storms you weather, time and again.

With each sunrise, you wear your mask,
Carrying on your unseen task.
Your prayers whispered into the air,
Your spirit burning with all you bare.

The world moves past, they cannot see
The warrior that you've come to be.
The tears you've shed, the doubts you've faced,
The countless times you've felt displaced.

But know this truth, I see you there,
Fighting battles that you can't share.
Your courage speaks in silent ways,
Through countless long and weary days.

So hold your head high, don’t let yourself fall,
There’s more strength in you than you recall.
And though few know your battle's length,
I'm proud of you and your quiet strength.

It's not the stillness of the mornings
or the nights that stretch too long,
not the silence in the hallway
or in the memories that linger on.

It’s not the scent of your perfume fading,
or finding strands of your grey hair,
it's not the teacup on the table waiting
or the full cushions on your vacant chair.

The hardest part, I understood too late,
it isn't counting the days apart
but in the permanence of your absence,
and this persistant ache in my heart.

It's not the missing, or the longing,
or in your presence that we lack,
but with a heavy understanding
that you are never coming back.

There is a peaceful stability
found within this lake's
deep and pure tranquillity.
Where beauty mirrors truth
in waters calm and still.

All who gaze upon this peace
feel their troubles fade,
as beauty's soft reflection
creates a perfect recollection
of nature's gentle grace.

Like a songbird's melody,
wild, soft yet free,
life's burdens are lulled to sleep,
and my heart takes wing
in joyful flight with yours.

I rest, knowing
that we are blessed
with nature's sweet reprieve,
and our bond destined
to weather all of this together.

Love shouldn't feel like shattered glass,
Or tears that flow as moments pass.
I learnt that caring wasnt enough,
When gentle hearts are treated rough.

The door closes softly as I depart,
A final goodbye, a new fresh start.
Though leaving breaks me piece by piece,
Staying would steal my inner peace.

Sometimes love means walking away,
Despite the price we have to pay.
For in the end, I've come to see,
The greatest love is setting myself free.

I stand behind the boundary you shattered,
Watching fragments of our trust scatter.
No mason's hands will I let rebuild
What you alone chose to break and spill.

Peace rests within my steadfast walls,
While your guilt beyond my border calls.
You crossed the line drawn in the sand
This distance now, I understand.

No architect of reconciliation will I be,
For bridges burned weren't burnt by me.
Some bonds, were broken by your choice,
They need no repair and no voice.

I rest content in knowing where I stood,
While you stepped over where you should.
So let it be; this space between,
Because I'm standing where I've always been.
