not a writer
if a day she does not write.

Is a mother not a mother
if she doesn’t kiss her child goodnight?

Is a lover not a lover
that does not have *** every night?

Is a God not a God
if he isn’t in plain sight ?

Is a wrong not a wrong

The Sun will falter,
Day turns dark but comes the Moon,
Light shall rise again.

When it rains
And I am happy
I know I am at peace.

I know storms are brewing within.
The inside and the outside
Are connected more
Often than we think.

The love you never had
The pain you always carried
The trust you never showed
The guilt you were consumed by
The joy you were seeking
The anger you held inside

The rest of them could never see
But I did
Because I was once like you
