You broke my heart
But I reclaimed the broken pieces
by forgiving you

Withhold not the truth
People might not embrace it now

What used to be naked trees

Looking out and seeing the greens
Inspires productivity
Tough times/seasons will come and go
Shedding [off] is not a bad thing
Perseverance is a path to victory!

Uncontestably, God is the greatest
whenever He allows me go through a test
I know He's trying to bring out my best
Yet, I still find myself questioning
myself and/or Him –
Why is this happening?
What have I done wrong?
However, with patience, trusting in Him
and yielding to Him
The tests usually turn out to be blessings.

Like an Actor in a movie scene
I know I'm on this stage called life
To act a story which was fore written
Way long before I was introduced on the scene

Trials and tribulations
Tests and persecutions
Trying times
Challenging periods
They are all part of the stage settings

They only last for a season
For faith workout reasons
Besides, they say whatever doesn't **** you
Helps build your muscle
Makes you a better person
Even if it doesn't physically appear to

Countless times, life's storms has blown
But my roots are deeply rooted in Him,
Way too firm to be uprooted
As long as the movie director sits on His throne
That's my guarantee that I won't drown in any phase
My total reliance on Him leaves me unfazed

I must admit, a few times I've been broken
But He never fails to come to my rescue
He rearranges my broken pieces like a puzzle
He fixes me so good, it often leaves my jaw dropping
In between my cracks, He makes flowers blossom
Please, isn't He awesome!

But I won't even lie
Sometimes, I still find myself doubting
Like it was just luck or something
But I know that's the flesh in me talking
Where would I have been without His mercies
I've walked on dry land in life's Red Sea

My God has proved Himself in many cases
At my lowest point, He raised me
To Him goes all my praises
Through it all,
I've learnt the race is not to the swiftest
And this movie of my life that
He's producing is definitely the dopest.

Life shouldn't be about "Them against Us"
nor should it be about "You against Me"
We should promote more collaboration,
instead of unnecessary competition.
What's there to gain from division?
We can reach great length when
we combine our individual strengths.

Bullets from a steel
Turning living bodies still
The max a killer gets is life behind bars
Or in some places, the chair
But none of those
will bring a lost life back

Why do we have humans
with their human feelings
disposed in the landfill?

I see thirsty throats
Trying to drink from the cup of power
The multitude gasping for a sip
Quite a number appeared with hoses and pumps
While some are gunning to take a hold of the cup in its entirety

When I look in the mirror
I see the best figure,
An image dripping with
God's beauty,
shining from head to toe
As if wearing a garment
flooded with diamonds.
An embodiment of glory
An actor of a success story
I see an image of love
A bearer of good news
An unstoppable force
An indomitable power
I see greatness
I see kindness
I see peace
I see me.

I saw sadness on a stranger's face
And I shed a few tears!

The sky is a canvas
The clouds are paints
The stars are glitters
Look up
And adore nature's work of art
It would inspire you
To reach for the sky

What's the point in...
Making a mistake and not learning
Learning and not applying
Wanting love and not giving
Possessing and not sharing
Dreaming and not working towards it
Having a gift without people benefitting
Having a heart without empathy
What's the point in
Breathing and not living!

This problem is too big to fix

This problem is too big to miss
The difference is your perception!

Her soul is trapped within my soul

Data and experiences are the inputs
How they are well processed will

Why does a delay have to attract other delays
Like, when you leave your house later than normal
Then the buses decide to run behind schedule and
Almost every traffic light turns red as you approach
Oh, there's a collision ahead too, another unexpected traffic
Sitting in that bus feeling grumpy, grouchy
Just that, you never really know because
Sometimes delays can be a blessing
Ask the person who missed a flight (due to delays) and that plane ended up crashing
(unfortunately)
I guess it's just best to embrace the uncontrollable
Knowing/Assuming that all things
work together for your good.

The unplanned sometimes
come in the way of the planned,
which usually feels like a roadblock.
Painful, saddening, even depressing.

But who really can tell if
it's truly an obstruction
without seeing the complete picture
Ultimately, it could be a detour to the right path.

The thing about an assignment is that,
It can be done by another person
But there's a way you were designed to
do yours, that speaks of your uniqueness.
Therefore, let your uniqueness speak
Never allow its voice to be lost in the
myriad of voices out there.
And remember, our life is an assignment.
Our daily life is filled with many
mini assignments.
Be attentive as to how you do yours.

How are we supposed to deal with this?

Some things are first seen by the heart
before they become visible to the eyes.
An invention for example, was first an
idea in the mind before it's given life
and then revealed to the world.

Don't search outside for what is within
Joy and peace are found on the inside
If you can't picture it, you can't draw (fetch) it out
Let the unseen influence the seen
and not the other way around.

The homeless man down the street
We all walk pass him
Treat him like he's discrete
Some will toss coins in his tin
No one ever looked in his eyes
At least, I did not
The general notion is, he messed up his own life
Maybe, he did not
Or maybe, he did
I think he deserves more than the coins
He sure needs something more
Just crumbs of love from passersby
Just an attention that he also exists!

When greed and the insatiable hunger for power
Becomes the drive for our daily actions
We tend to give little or no respect to others
Sadly, many today are living in this fashion
Which explains the current condition of things in our world

The love of money supersedes the regards
given to humans and the environment
Corporations are raking money almost
at every living things' detriments
It's almost certain that these destructions will never end
Hope we don't end up ending humanity.

This time, I applaud the internet technology,
different web platforms, desktop
and mobile applications.
In these times of physical separation,
you're providing us with virtual connection.
You're saving many from depression.
Even though, we might not be together,
We see one another in the palm of our hands.
I wonder what it would feel like,
if the internet was shut down as well.

The best is yet to come!
The most vital part of the future is now
How do you cross to the other side
When the bridge is gone

Now is the time to solidify
Or build the bridge
That's readiness for that which is to come
Start, before the now is gone!
