he wants to rewind

whisper into a wall

she wants to rewind

count all the stars before she dies

I want to rewind

miss my old bed

can't undo all the mistakes
nothing I can change

I want you to LOVE
If not me,
Someone...

Better me,
Oh! It is okay
I don't mind anyone too
Just the idea is
I want you to
Experience LOVE
To realize LOVE
So that you can
Know my LOVE
And taste the flavor
Of "LOVE"

Thus know my LOVE
How much I LOVE YOU
With what passion
How deep
With what intensity

But LOVE
Not as imitation of any LOVE
(Especially my LOVE for you)

LOVE purely
From the soul
Deep inside from your gut

So much LOVE that
Just by the feel
Of your BELOVEDz
Your BEING shivers
Let LOVE flow and ooze
Out of your skin pores

I want you to LOVE
If not me,
Someone...

Better me!

I LOVE you
YOU LOVE me

I can see the stars in the rain
Filled with pain
I'm slowly becoming one

You're putting me away
leaving me alone

You can't cover me up with clouds
I'll still shine in the daylight

You're turning away

I'm here to stay

an outpour of you,
Creativity, the bird
who lives inside me
and sometimes devours me
but sometimes leaves me helpless.

How far can it go?
My undying love for you
Will it reach you?
I hope it does

How far can it go?
Your patience for me
Will you choose to stay?
I hope you do

How far can it go?
This relationship of us
Will it be forever?
I hope it is

How far can it go?
This whisper of confession
Are you listening?
I hope you are

Distance between you and me
A challenge for us to conquer
But no matter how far it is
My loyalty will forever be yours

As I took a walk outside,
I noticed something that caught my eye.
Twisted in the grass, ingrained with dirt,
What I saw made my heart hurt.

Monarch's wings I had found,
Which gave me feelings so profound.
An intense sadness, helplessness, fear,
Overcame me as I beheld these artifacts dear.

In death or life, they must have been torn,
These beautiful wings that the creature bore.
I picked them up and held them close,
These wings that symbolized what I feared the most-

Losing myself, my biggest part,
The part of my soul that is dearest to my heart.
And what for my memories, good and bad?
What if I couldn't remember anything; wouldn't that be sad?

The monarch's wings sit still on my dresser,
A reminder of my constant stressor,
Yet also comforting me just the same,
As I pass through each day, feeling slightly more brave.
