Skin is just a
Color

Age is just a
Number

Girls are just
Human

Religious people are just
Believers

Oh why do we discriminate?
Why won't we let these people come in?

Is it because we are afraid?
Or are we just bad people?

Everyone and everything
Is on one planet

Be happy you're alive
And let everyone in
No discrimination!

Dress

I put on my dress and smooth the creases under my eyes.
It just falls right, falls right on the curves of my hips
And hides the shadows between this rib caged heart.
For that moment, it reminds me less of myself
And more of you.

She does not smile or frown,
she just sits there.
I wonder what she would say if
I really love her.
There is a fear inside me to
not even bring it up the same way
I used to.
What if she sees this?

What if

The fear shakes my stubborn heart.
I wish things did not change,
but everything grows new right?

right?

Tell me I will be okay,
please time is not always on our side.
She gives me hope
and replaces my worries with laughs.
So who am I talking?
She is the one that tells me to
stop and continue living on.
This poem is dedicated to her
from my heart to the world to see.
I still love her. Cannot go a day without
thinking of her. It kills me in a good way.

Vow

Vow
I made a vow to myself
a vow that I shall never break
no matter what happens
I'll follow my dreams
till my last breath
even if I have to walk on a flaming path
and battle the devil inside me
I'll survive their mockery and their prejudice
they will laugh at me, try to stop me and look at me with disgust
but I'll keep standing proudly
they will be jealous, envious and hateful
but their words won't harm me
they will call me names freak insane ***** and even "kefra" ( non believer)
but that won't take my dignity
won't take my pride
they will all stand against me
my family "my friends" and the society
they will try to scare me with their stupid superstitions
but I won't turn back
I'm strong enough to bear the harm and the pain
I won't break my vow
no matter what happens

Is
Glass;
.        you can look into it and find your face,
.                                                                      smiling and grimacing both!

I want to grow a pair of wings
-Sharp, beautiful, majestic ones-
To hold you in and press you tight
inside them, Like the tender silken
roses you sent, That dozed deep in
the pages Of our favourite book,
So I can keep you
For ever.

Stupid boy.
With your bright eyes and your soft hair.
Stupid boy.
With your laugh that always brings out mine.
Stupid boy.
With your ability to never keep me mad at you, despite it all.
Stupid boy.
With the way you always make me feel.
Stupid girl.

She sat in the waiting room
Scared as can be
She felt like a little girl
Even though she was thirty-three

Does she want to do this?
Does she really have a choice?
Then she heard this little voice

“Yes you have a choice”, said the voice in her head
But isn’t it too late now, once it’s over, the baby is dead

She ran from room, dark and dingy was the place
She ran and ran at a very fast pace

She couldn’t get away fast enough
She decided to have the baby
No matter how tough
