Petite candle
Eola Nov 2020
Blaze is licking the glass gently
Showing the beauty when the light and the night meet
Although soothingly hot to the touch
It cannot warm this dead heartbeat

You make me happy
Eola Nov 2020
I'm so happy I could burst right now
It's like getting ready for my first race
(The sun has been shinning a lot these days)
Adrenaline is rushing through my heart
But I'm standing with a smile on my face

Really, It's addicting
Everytime our eyes meet
The Spring then blooms so sweetly
And the wind sweeps me of my feet

Hey!
Eola Nov 2020
Hey! You there!
The one with the big ideas and dreams
Why are you slumping along
The society's current ideals?

Why are you not expressing
The creativity bestowed to you by your childhood?
And instead trying to reach
The ideal adult's falsehood?

Blocked memories
Eola Nov 2020
My memories are gone
Not that I'd like to remember
The last time she didn't hit me
The last time she treated me better

Leaves are falling
Eola Nov 2020
The leaves
They are falling
Gracefully dancing together
Not noticing
That their end is near
But can you blame them
For living in the moment
And holding each other dear

Childhood
Eola Nov 2020
I miss my childhood filled with sweets
When I played with other kids in the streets
I remember sleeping comfortably in car's back seat
And waking up in my bed in a heart beat
I miss my old toy ship fleet
When video games didn't take that long to complete
I remember my grandmother giving me treats
I was very happy although they were bittersweet
But now I'm surrounded by concrete
While continuing this nostalgia's deceit
Memories toys childhood happy change

A riddle
Eola Nov 2020
It runs through it's masters veins
With a thick consistency that stains
The journeys that it usually takes
Often are in snowy plains
When it stops, it makes chains
Of epic tales that advance our brains
After the centuries it remains
To help us in the quest to obtain
The knowledge we seek to retain
What is it?

Blacksmiths and black sheep
Eola Nov 2020
There was a village
Called Ludnica in maps
Quite old and vintage
The population reached 100 at max

It was known far and wide
For it's weird rules
Everyone had to abide
And dress like white ghouls

Half of them were blacksmiths
Working day and night
Others had to submit
And were to be polite

Every once in a while
Another black sheep would appear
Some even hostile
Not understanding why they were there

Then the blacksmiths' work would restart
They chipped away the metal chains
Reshaped the mind part by part
Untill the sickness didn't remain

"Where was this Ludnica?"
You might ask
But don't search for it
Because it will find you at last
This might be easy to guess
But I still wonder if this text makes sense

The deceiving Sun
Eola Nov 2020
It was calm at first
Then the dawn rippled with sunbeams
Finally the Sun has show her face
And illuminated the cyan stream

Birds were chirping
Flying around frantically
The deers, the squirrels
Were hopping away without looking

You see, this might sound nice
If the sun wasn't created by a man
That decided to get rid of a few extra leaves
With an oil can

Some matchsticks later
The fiery blade was too hot to control
It shone oh so brightly
And left nothing after itself
Nothing at all...

— The End —
