When we were younger,*
we believed the rumors and the lies
until we couldn't anymore say goodbye.

A little older,
we thought the friends we had would be our only
relying on the fact they wouldn't get too nosy.

When Middle School came around,
I was left in the dust
crying in self pity because I had once thought of trust.

At home that night,
I thought of you
how you said to me I'd always be your crew.

Waking up in the morning fresh and new,**
I remember faintly of your words
and what they used to do.

Kina
You have a silver tongue.
Your words are elegant and your delivery admirable.
Your words could part seas and light the sky.
They could make an army of disbelievers stand on their feet
And praise you, worship you.
You are that powerful.

But as silver as your tongue is it is just as sharp.
Your words brush against my skin and cause happiness
But in another moment despair.
They send knives through my skin and force an apology from me
As I clean up the blood.

Your words make me question how I could be so lucky
Yet so unlucky at the same time
Because in the right moment your words are a smooth melody
That wraps around me and makes me feel at home.
But in the next my ears drown in dissonance.

I cannot pretend that your words don't bruise me
But I also cannot leave
Because you have entranced me
With your silver tongue.

Within
A realm of fantasy
My mind it takes control
Painting pictures
Photographs
Prepared within the soul

Imagination
Plays its hand
Cautions cast the style
What I see
Is what I am
And will be for a while

Perception
Leads a blinded eye
To where the path begins
For the moment
I shall wait
Right here so deep within
Trembling.
Heavy breathing.
Red faces, shaking knees.

Stuttering.
Blank minded.
“Speak louder, please”.

Terror.
Public speaking.
Doesn't everyone have symptoms like these?
I'm your mirror.
I reflect what you want to see.
But it's never really me.

I'm your mirror.
There are smudges and dirt.
Little imperfections you don't like, which hurts.

I'm your mirror.
See whatever you want to see.
But when I break, you're the one who bleeds.
Dear Poets,
We are a wondering bunch of know it-
All's.
We breathe words and phrases
From our upright noses.
No one composes
A song that shows us
Or proposes
That we change the things we've chosen!
We love they way we live,
And we love the blood that pours from our fingertips
On to white paper.

What a hypocritical bunch are we,
Writing about death and life
As if we knew the answers to everything.
One is per se acidic
Other one is per force alkaline
Their life is neutralized
One is corrosive
Other is effervescent
Together is balanced
One is hydrogen
Other is oxygen
They quench their thirst
In 2:1 proportion
One is proactive
Other is reactive
Both are coactive
One is productive
Other is seductive
Couple is reproductive
They build nucleus family
With atomic character
Explode or implode
Implore and explore
New order of life’s disorder
The duo’s duel disposition
Sports harmonious melody

Grabbed my hand and whispered run.
I DID NOT CREATE THIS.
I SAW THIS ONLINE AND THOUGHT TO REPOST IT HERE.
REPEAT: I DID NOT WRITE THIS.
