Memoirs of dead men;
I wonder of future generations,
Like those I have met.
As to my own destiny,
Why let the question phase me?
This labor of love, that
Life, I wish to live selfless-
And be great, anonymous.
Shadow the dark, and shine light
Radiate through the night
That, of your conscience.
Wakeup, & look around;
This is war, not merely fight-
For all that is just and right,
Stand-up, don't just die.
The fuse is sparked, the fire ignite:
Spread your wing and take flight.

The lit fuse of her lips touching off
A din in the black powdery night:
Illumined and immolated am I.

Trying to do it right
Don't let the anger ignite

Trying not to set it off
Avoid it, I know it's my fault!

Can you back away?
Before I blow it into the fade?

Because I swear I'm trying
To stop this anger from striking like lightning

Trying to do it right!!! Alright?
Without picking up the knife tonight!

I can't KB, I'm tempted, I'm crazy
It is a bomb, ready to burst... I don't want it to hurt

Trying to do it right!!! Him in Sight!
My emotions have turned into explosions in the sky

Try... Trying to do it right...

Trying to do it right...It's what I have to do
Trying hard to put out this flaring fuse

Trying to blow it out
Before it burns this temple down

Can you keep the gasoline?
Many galaxies away from me?

Don't wanna light it up in flames
And have it break down the love that Christ gave...

Trying to do it right!!! Alright?
Without picking up the knife tonight!

I can't KB, I'm tempted, I'm crazy
It is a bomb, ready to burst... I don't want it to hurt

Trying to do it right!!! Him in Sight!
My emotions have turned into explosions in the sky

Try... Trying to do it right...

Sometimes I fail and I blend in with the ash
Beauty from the ashes is the catch
It takes time to refine a jewel
So don't take me for a fool...
I'm trying to do it right alright? ALRIGHT!
Reforming to be a weapon to FIGHT!

Trying to do it right!!! Alright?
Without picking up the knife tonight!

I can't KB, I'm tempted, I'm crazy
It is a bomb, ready to burst... I don't want it to hurt

Trying to do it right!!! Him in Sight!
My emotions have turned into explosions in the sky

Try... Trying to do it right...
I am fighting...
It'll just take time... remember that...

Life
is
a
short
fuse...…..
so
never
light
it.

A platform is shared
By bigots being scared
By change in the air
In range of what’s fair
So they callously pair
With arms to bear
To harm and tear
Those the meek spare

Weapons will be used
As factions fuse
Their hateful views
To give me a bruise
And lie in the news
Or blame the Jews

They go through a bitter tunnel
Acting as the wealthy’s funnel
Exploiting their grumbles
To get them to rumble
And not act humble

Arcade style fights
Illuminate the night
With exploding lights
Shining very bright
Signaling the plight
Of losing our sight
And relying on might
After shifting far right

They want the throne
For their own all alone
And their wants have grown
So we’re stripped to the bone
By a hound and his gun
In town with his son
Who drowns us for fun
For his money has won

So miscellaneous
Missiles maiming us
With no training rust
Cause raining dust
That’s draining trust
In its radius

No compassion or mercy
They’ve lost the church key
Thoughtlessly hurting
Those seen as *****
Mortars strike angels passing above
Trying to disseminate their love
To those with bullet in glove
Who just push and shove
The transcendent ones
So we can’t be absolved
As the nations devolve
Into a racist right wing resolve

The proud and stupid
Team with the putrid
To **** Cupid
Because he ignored them
Creating the problem’s stem
Creating the bombs we send
Creating the lies we defend
For the extent
Of excess
They expect

An empire’s implosion
Will bring atomic explosions
Yet we watch the erosion
Completely frozen

She was playing with the rim of her glass. Running a finger. She wasn’t fully aware, it wasn’t really on purpose. As if the glass was playing with her, not the other way around. Her fingertips went down on the glass, caressing its stem. There was so much happening in the back of her head that she wasn’t completely present. She dipped her finger and got a taste. Just the tip, she thought. Just a drop. Why? There was no “why”. Something was going down. She wanted to break the ice and make him forget about protocols and small talk and all the boring stuff. Her clock was already ahead. Her lips weren’t kissing the glass. They were elsewhere. Kissing the tip. She wanted that dip. She wanted his lips on the rim of her glass. Sipping from her. Something had spilled somewhere. But not the cool of the wine. It was warm. Who knows where it had started to trickle. Somewhere behind her eyes, would be a good guess. But it was inevitable where it would end up. It would part lips. It would not be contained. Here thighs were clenched shut like a vise. Her tongue craved new flavor. She wanted to excuse herself but she felt a bizarre excitement in walking on a razor-thin edge of a boiling sensation. The tease. The pleasant torture. He had stopped talking. He was focused on her lips. How long has it gone like that? Her casual gestures couldn’t mask anything now. She was all color seeping from behind the makeup. She suddenly caught his stare just like she would his hand. But she would not deflect it. She would guide him. And this realization exploded in her head… and everywhere simultaneously. She closed her eyes briefly and exhaled. She climaxed.
“Are you okay?”

Your aura breathed blue
My aura breathed red
Your blue breathed my aura confused
My fierce red tried hard to refuse
But your colour seemed too beautiful
Your toxic air swam too plentiful
And my red fell into something weird
A pit that left my fiery colour smeared

Your colour densely mixed with mine
The thickness of such fog left me blind
And while i was slipping into a vibrant purple
I forgot that we were but weak mortals
My red was colliding with your blue
And i was happy
But then you decided,
that purple wasn't the colour for you

This is a mere poem about how someone's influence changes you and what a possible outcome could be. While he was flirting and encouraging her into him, parts of her was changing into him and the girl he fell in love with was no longer there. While she was happy to becoming one with him, unconsciously losing pieces of herself, he could not find himself loving the character she had become, the character he lead her to become.

What is a muse,
but a fuse to ignite
passion and inspiration.
The goddess of ingenuity
sparking creativity within me.
The mind, the heart, the soul
come together as one.
Blood flowing, ideas growing.
Electric fluid rushing
through my veins.
Fingers tingling,
gently stroking the keys,
words gracefully appear.

A poem is born

You told me when we talk its a risky conversation.
So I imagine
We had embers for mouths
And
We conversed with smoke signals.
Unable to control our spits
The  bomb ignited
In which neither of us meant to have lit the fuse.

Without you,
I was nothing but a tepid grey dust
I wanted nothing more than for the oxygen that I inhaled to be met with sultriness
It was in my nature
Almost how it was in your nature
To fulfill my desire to be kindled

With you,
Flames ignited the fuse
In the skies they saw the fireworks
You were the spark in disguise
You taught me just how fire works
