a tangle of roots and flowers out of reach
the maze with a centred heart
who would tread this road?
the poets love affair with words.
.
Blooms of hair, shimmers and starlight,
Face of dream, gathers in lighted loom,
Wakes of morn, spotty forest fawn, child
To magi moon, maid of golden orchards,
Of faraway seas, world opened vastness,
Temptress of foreign fruits and the giving
Sun, where blue, blood oranges old, ripen,
The dark vines grape of ancient olive, red
Lamb and wine.

What enchanted lands are you made of?
Where the diving seas of dolphin, sponge
And whirlpool weave, wherein Gods must
Have loved and making you, left this earth
In beauty and peace, burnished with dream.
Fand (pronounced: fawnd) is an early Irish sea goddess.  Her name is translated as "Pearl of Beauty".  She is seen as the most beautiful of goddesses.

Candles burnt their encore, sent their smoky
ropes to fatigued altitudinal strongholds.
They slid downward to sinners knee deep
in glossy pews...combing their kneecaps
to sooth a momentarily localized numbness.
Body parts and parts, to parts, and parts...
that are bodies that fell asleep.
Flesh sleeps its church...we are the encore
our candles await.

your body is a temple and i offer life and movement, light and laughter
with a song in my heart i invoke your sudden smile
turn your ear to listen now
i have words and sounds
i surrender to your desire
i have been running too long

open field under the night sky we sing to the stars
we are opened up and looking out
my gift to you is temporary but perfect

your body is a temple
and i want to worship at the alter of your pleasure
your voice is the sermon and your skin is the sacrament
i will drink you like wine and savor the taste
inside the divine cup
right down to the bottom

gush your inner heart out in breathless gasps
you have to testify to me
and i will testify to you
A drop of your potion
Woke up the placid soul
Creating ripples all over
Concentric circles they create
Harmonious waves
Sweeps over our being
Lease of life, till eternity

To love. To be loved. To never forget your own insignificance. To never get used to the unspeakable violence and the ****** disparity of life around you. To seek joy in the saddest places. To pursue beauty to its lair. To never simplify what is complicated or complicate what is simple. To respect strength, never power. Above all, to watch. To try and understand. To never look away. And never, never to forget.

blessed be.
Deep red in the dark forest wood,
Under the dying grey of hollow tree,
The fox and the mouses dearly fend
In the theatre wings of the fallen leaves.
