"ramadhan" poems
Sabtu, 14 Agustus 2010 Sekarang jam 1.21 pagi Ku masih di ruang TV yang sekaligus dapur Ku duduk di kursi meja makan Masih tak mau tertutup mata ini Ku membaca, membahas soal Sendiri... Terdengar suara-suara aneh Kicauan burung, gemuruh atap Cat cit cut tikus Suasana, uh, terasa seram Tapi aku tak peduli Karena bulan ini adalah Ramadhan Tak mungkin ada yang terlepas Namun, kapan aku bisa terlelap? Elegi Pagi Buta
The true spirit of Ramadhan Its not about thirst and hunger Its not about starvation from the hours of dawn till the hours of dusk Its not about food paradise at Ramadan bazaar and lavish preparation for Iftar... The real purpose of fasting is to attain righteousness to behave righteously... To See no evil To Hear no evil To Speak no evil To Empty your stomach so you'll feed your soul reciting the holy book Al-Qur'an for blessings.. The merciful will double the reward more than your heart desires fast for the sake of attaining to God the true nature of fasting Ramadhan ...observe it in its true spirit ~ Sharina~

The true spirit of Ramadhan
The last Ramadhan we weren’t together.. A lot of hurt and pain in the heart.. What is past should remain in the past.. On this new holy Ramadhan.. Let us forgive and forget… Let us reunite in love, joy and peace… May our hearts be pure from hate.. may our souls be free from rage and evil… Have the heart of fasting and prayer and light the darkness in our hearts…. On this holy Ramadhan…… Welcome Ramadhan, the blessed visitor. May my Ramadhan be blessed.. and yours too….

Ahlan Wasahlan Ya Ramadhan Kareem.... Welcome Ramadhan
Here we are once again.. Welcoming the holy month of Ramadhan The Muslims all over the world Seize this opportunity to strengthen our faith By reading Al-Quran... and praising Allah through the day.. Let us Celebrate this holy month of Ramadhan By submitting ourselves to our creator Seeking forgiveness from Allah Purify this sinful soul, Cleanse our heart and mind It's a month that helps us ward off evil, Removing from our hearts a dark veil. Our Muslim brothers and sisters gather in the mosque at night Our nights are full of prayer, to Allah our thanks we share. From dawn to dusk we fast and pray. Hungry and thirsty, we are only human.. But... For Allah’s sake We fast during Ramadhan... We feed our soul with prayers Do the best for our Allah and our religion.. We do charity for those in need, Teaching ourselves to do good deeds And gratitude... We welcome Ramadhan.. Month of purity, month of charity.. Month of prosperity...

Ramadhan Kareem

Dia
They say it's not a "goodbye" but a "see you later", Because a "goodbye" is to bid farewell, But a "see you later" means you will see each other sooner. I have no problems with a "goodbye", Because I see them for a chance for me to go on new adventures. I also don't have a problem with a "see you later", Because I see them as a chance for us to talk and catch up and have a little chatter. But I don't like it when people say things when they don't mean, Make promises they can't keep, Build relationships they can't hold, And share secrets they can't keep it to their own. I guess that's why we don't say "hi" or "hello", Or "goodbye" or "see you soon", We say Assalamualaikum, Peace be upon you, And reply with a Waalaikumussalam, And peace be upon you too. We don't bid farewell, We don't make plans to see, We just pray for peace upon each other's lives, And hope that our paths will meet.

Welcome The Holy Month of Ramadhan
You can't pass down your imaan, Like the way you pass down your old clothes. People have different levels of imaan, They need to practice religion on their own. You can't pass down the deeds you have done, To compensate the sins they have committed. People need to learn from their mistakes and become their own person. You can't pass down all the knowledge you have studied, And expect them to learn and practice in an instant. People need to be willing to open and listen and accept changes and different opinions. You can however pray that they open their hearts and become a better person. Always remember to raise your hands in supplication, To the One who will listen, Of your doubts and worries, your plans and missions, your hopes and dreams, even your biggest accomplishments. Because we may not have absolute power to make every good thing to magically happen, The power of du'a is all we have, But it is a mu'mins greatest weapon.

7 Ramadhan : Supplication
here I go lustfully again, no matter how much I try to restrain, my body acts up and forms a team with my brain, she was bodacious I fell in admiration, next morning during breakfast I formed this intention, that maybe she's as beautiful on the inside, and maybe we can put religion beside, or maybe make a decision on the safe side and not act upon my intention and stay tongue tied. she was reserved, composed and did things with no rush, yes it's ramadhan so her head was covered with a scarf, but she left out her face which I found tempting to touch, as of that night I found nothing else beautiful as such. Her eyes sparkled in the dim night streetlights, my mind rattled with her clothes that were skin tight, her voice so soothing and moving can make a bad word seem right, but in the end I come to my senses and leave all the inventions and come to a realization that it was all just lust at first sight.

here I go, lustfully again
So I knocked knocked knocked on heaven's door, Only to be answered by God Himself and asked, "what do you want Little Nur?" I told Him, "I'm tired of waiting for your plans for me, I just need some closure". He calmly replies, "inna maal 'usri yusra".

11 Ramadhan
Remember in school, we would literally count the seconds till the class is over. Tick tock, tick tock, while the teacher lectures. And after class, you go home, thinking, "Man, that was class was so long!" Only to wonder, a few years later, How you have progressed in your respective careers, How fickle is the weather, And how people have changed for the better. I felt as though it was only yesterday I spent my last Ramadhan on campus, Going to class, listening to lectures, Planning iftars, and picking masjids for our prayers. But I guess it's high time for bigger and better adventures.

Sejengkal rindu dalam bogor Dahulu kudengar sebuah dongeng tentang Kota diatas awan, Bogor, Kota yang tiada hari tanpa hujan Kota tiada pemandangan gedung kaca Kota tiada pemandangan selain Gunung Salak Perkenalan kala itu mengantarkan mengenal lebih jauh tentang Bogor Tatkala itu Bogor sungguh sebagaimana kota diatas awan Kini rupanya tak begitu indah, tak seperti masa itu Namun, Bogor tentu setia dengan beribu kenangannya Bogor tetap saja Kota yang setia menyimpan ingat, Bogor tetap melangkah seperti biasanya, Sayur tetap disediakan pedagang di pagi gelap Angkot tetap tabah menunggu penumpang Tugu kujang tetap setia di tempatnya berada Bogor, kenang itu selamanya. Terimakasih. Muhammad Iqbal Ramadhan Bogor, 22 Agustus 2021

Ramadhan
i was too lazy to become a rock star, i chose to be a poet, and involve myself in a higher dimension of practising a constant Ramadhan, although drinking before having my one meal a day... watch out, a monk off the leash! man, you know like when live recordings work magic obliterating studio recordings, like the doors' roadhouse blues? man, that's when it happens and **** gets real, death aged 27, come the riots and myths, when studio recordings for a sale are worth jack-shit... so why are these ******* the un-acknowledged beatles based upon the decibels of the screaming female fans? it was funny watching the spaniard tourists leaving authentic rolled blunts on the grave with lipstick and some green **** also found on churchill's bald moonshine of a forehead during an anarchist protest... that parisian cemetery got to me, i thought i heard an aeon echo in oesophagus ripples from bavarian beer halls.

man, huh?
Ramadhan is the month of love, And it is the month of mercy, It is also the month of hunger and thirst Because you always need to think of the needy. But hunger and thirst is not just meant to be fulfilled by food and water, It is to be filled by the solat and Quran, So you can truly feel His power. Only then will you realize, Food and drinks only fulfills your body to the bones, But it does nothing much to the soul. So let's make more time for prayer, And more time for recitation, Bow our heads in humility, And raise our hands in supplication.

and so the syrian "samaritans", as the twin satans rose against king solomon's profundity in praying for wisdom but only unearthing the woad pigment for his people on their faces, striking a river-flow where no water should have abounded for them to congregate, yet congregate they did, as immigrants, to a flow of awaiting mingling of metaphors, such that the amassed people turned into a river, winding northward into the womb of the holocaust; and among many the lament, while sylvia took to expressing a stoic end, ending it all by amassing a respectable readership... she still reminds me of Eva Braun... who, after all, geneticists proved to be a Jewess - indeed that twinning of dichotomies against the practical linear expression of reincarnation disproved - the linear parallels of: one life, one life, this world; that, whatever that is, you name it god, you name it heaven, you name it hell... forget that, take hold of this. i am fasting all day, but i drink, i get the calorie intake of fire first, then i stuff my stomach like geese or turkeys for slaughter; apparently i'm purified that way; no, i don't take lovers, i take prostitutes into the garden... less hassle; they're like socks, i'm the shoes with that magnetised quote: never judge a man by his shoes, or try to wear them; you might get a hex of excess skin - basically wear your own and leave a river of echoes where you might.

Ramadhan (haiku)
Faith is challenge, It shakes everything you thought you knew in this world, To make you fulfill for a life in the Hereafter. Faith is power, It questions all the knowledge that you have, To make you realize all the plans you pursued were never in your vigour. Faith is strength, It moves you so much with its trials and tests, To make you become a person with honour. Faith is grace, It touches your heart in such trivial of ways, To make you believe in His order. Faith is love, It grows in all of us day by day, To make us believe that nothing is without our Creator.

5 Ramadhan
They always tell you, In whatever that you do, Whatever that you pursue, Wherever your dreams take you, Always remember to bow your head in sujood. No matter how much you make, Whatever is at stake, Regardless of your state, Always remember the less fortunate. Doesn't matter who you meet, Or how you were greet, Or in what way you were treat, Always remember to show them your teeth. At the end of the day, He is the one who paves your ways, Plans your trades, And blooms those darling buds of May.
