"prejudge" poems
Once again I wore my spiked choker and wristband today
I haven't worn them in a while
Because everyone thinks I'm depressed when I wear them
But I realized I don't care what people think of me
I'm not hollow like I was the last time I wore this
So that is all that really matters
This is my little symbol of rebellion
Against hatred
To say to those who prejudge me and hate me:
F!ck you
I'll do whatever the hell I feel like
Your approval is not needed
I'm happy dressed this way
That's all that matters
I encourage everyone to have a little bit
Of that "F!ck You Attitude" today
Just little symbols of rebellion
Draw a black X on your wrist today
In black ink
If you support
Being yourself regardless what people think
And through this little ink symbol
Though apart in miles
We will be united in spirit
Be YOU :)

We All have Flaws,
Stubby nose,
Bushy Brows,
Crooked smile,
Whichever it maybe
But those are the types of things
That make us UNIQUE,
The details to our grand design,
"There is no one like Me"
Take pride in that,
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder,
To prejudge based off of one's appearance,
Now that is what you call UGLY

Have we all become mere automata
guided by the ring of pings and notifs?
The spray of lather from a sea of data
carrying with it wrung celebrity whiffs
have stung us with a certain aphasia...
The written thought was a lifetime ago
long abandoned by the times and all--
where once there was soundness to follow
nonsense amassed like a rising cymbal
whose crash sent reason to the gallows.
The news of the day presents a delectable entree
of a hodgepodge of this, that, and nothing much.
Wherefore we find our tongues compelled to say
something about the aftertaste or to prejudge
as if we were connoisseurs--it must've hid faraway.
Are we perhaps amusing ourselves to death?
I am by no means a Luddite to such a degree,
but I believe we have bombarded and blessed
ourselves a little too much to see...
only time will tell us reason's final breath.

Stuck in a straight jacket
That detaches from humanities
That disables civilized thinking
It strangles your insides
And steals compassion
And your breath of life
Withers inside this chasten
In this rubber room
Who’s pads make up your apathetical existence
You rot here like the ***** you take
You die here
Unless you bleed yourself of disrespect
Unless you bleed yourself of disinterest
Unless you bleed yourself of narcissism
Who cares
Your worthless in this state anyway
Find purpose in empathy
Or die here
Exist out of the minds of others
Others who have collective respect
Collective understanding
Collective empathy
And open mindedness
You’re locked here cause you prejudge
Guarded by your own stubbornness
You don’t accept
That you don’t know everyone’s story
You can’t know
You judge anyway
That hippie over there
He’s not a ***** loser
He has a family he loves
Worked hard in construction
And overcame a destructive alcohol and drug abuse
He’s better than you
He’s empathetic
Loving
Understanding
And embraces everyone

I’m a bad lover
I ask too many questions and some answers make me uneasy,
‘Am impacient, sometimes have low self esteem and sometimes I just think I’m the **** (I do really)
I’m a bad lover
I tend to inundate the objects of my affection with attention, cheesy poetry and random drawings that look more like kindergarden scribble.
Broken promises **** me.
I’m a bad lover
I am inclined to forgive with ease but remember with intensity.
I do not acknowledge moderation when it comes to kissing.
I sometimes prejudge according to my last relationships.
And somehow I am not afraid of being loyal.
I’m a bad lover
I love cats and warm, fuzzy feelings.
I’ll rather watch a documentary than a horror movie.
I turn awkward in certain situations.
I go to sleep listening to democracynow.org but think Amy Goodman should be a bit more energetic, it’s almost as if she’s bored or ****** off or something.
I’m a bad lover

"do you live here?"
said a woman labeled white
and bred to prejudge the spectrum.
a woman I had greeted thrice
previously,
and offered a ride
on McGarrity.
her dog
of mixed pedigree
glanced at me,
eyes glossed with shame
as if he sensed my pain.
he tugged on the leash,
eager to be rid
of the tension,
or her....
i couldn't tell.
so I swallowed my nuclear option
and biked on.

I love the stories of successful powerful entrepreneurs that made it through everything without ever stopping to becoming where they are now and still getting where they want to be
Once you've made it to that point you wanted to be, you expand and grow and somewhere else becomes your new destination. It never stops because you begin learning new things and you come up with new ideas, new goals, etc.
Once you came from a destination to another one
You can accomplish anything, you did it once you can do it over again.
You will get a lot of NO'S before you start hearing YES'S
Failure doesn't have to be something negative
Every failure is a stepping stone to make you become a better You
There will be times where you want to QUIT
But that's when you have to fight the hardest and overcome that every moment and just keep fighting until you've made it to your destination
You have to push yourself even if no one else wants to work with you
Go to the places you said and thought
"I should talk to whoever is in charge"
This is easy, your not the only one
Remember your WHY and fight
Remember the reason why you choose to become an Entrepreneur
Work with your team or build your team and work together
Share ideas
Don't let fear stop you:
Make that phone call
Make that stop
Attend the meetings
Take notes
Follow up with people -always-
Write down everything
Wake up early
Get on the calls
Invite people over, present the business opportunity
Never prejudge EVER
Either:
Business partner
or
Customer
If not neither ask for referrals
Motivate yourself,
Move
Work it as a full time
Define it as part time
Make it fun
Don't stress yourself
It's okay to:
Get mad
Get sad
Then move on and get on track again
Some people will never get it
Others, you will need to get back to them
Following up, is where your money is at
Stay focus
Be sharp
Be yourself
Don't make up EXUSES for yourself
Do it because it's easy,
Its simply don't complicate
Do it because you don't want to,
but do it anyways because you know its beneficial to you
It wasn't meant for everyone so don't get stuck on that one person
Move on to the NEXT'S
Duplicate
Duplication is key
So is Consistency
So is Patience
Make this your everyday
Treat it as your business
Its your
Create your OWN hours
Use all your tools
Don't make **** up
Be honest
Change your "I should have's" to "I'm going to"
Grow your business
Help people
Do something product today
Not tomorrow, not next month
But right now
Work your business as if. . . .
inserts worse life scenario
Create success
Put God first, --Always--

while I center this vast wondering confusion of self, I call me. others may know as that silly boy king, foolish to the end and hardly the sight for sore eyes, but still he just might be some what an okay guy. or, simply that guy with his windows rolled down. or just That guy, oh crap, no body wants to be "That Guy" umm. humm, yeah. okay. um. well at least I will be doing it while rolling this list, so, there is some saving grace... ;-) never bested by more than my silly *** self, and I'm best at that for sure. **** that guy thing again. lol. smile, I am.
Imaginary Friends, never had them till recently, but I find that delusions can be far more than fantasy and rather a wonderful thing to embrace. Funny, I am the only person I have ever known of that is happy with the simplest of things being simply what they are and beautiful for what they are without meeting some sort of standard or expectation. Yeah, the day my imaginary friend/s ever become real,,, know that I am happy that they are simply whom they are and not preconceived anything, Yes, the most beautiful thing to me, is the flaws of the beauty of what it is without being altered for any reason, for it , them, is made just so by the life they lived, the choices they made / make, the things they feel and do, and I choose not to read into that till such til comes that it be needed and so far when one chooses to see the beauty in something or someone for its simple truth of its self, there is never a time to arise to prejudge or expect anything other than what comes. and that, my friend is the greatest beauty and gift I can think to grace yourself and them with, for it is love whole heartedly, without a desire to alter of precieve them in any other light than the light in which they shine. so, yeah, it can be done, and is done, and will be done for one day, whether you or anyone ever know about it, I will be smiling and sharing with that beauty for eyes to see and ears to hear, one then truly sees that , I care not how things started, nor why, nor for what true end, for I see something that few might be lucky enough to see, that more has happened and transpired in this time, events, and whole saga, than one could have ever expected. and for that, I am grateful, hope you are too. cause in the end, I know I will be victorious in some wonderful way and I will get the girl, so don't dare say, you don't believe, cause friend, isn't believing what this is all truly about? and isn't, believing what with out a doubt, forms that which you live? so, yeah, I will. and I smile. So yeah Time to roll the center a round abouts my whole of my soul... and roll away this list of tunes, with my windows rolled down too. ;-)

We’ve spent our entire lives captive to your ideals
We enter our favorite bar to the reverential welcome of our brothers and sisters
There is sadness in the knowledge of your opinions
But freedom in the release of our worries of your attitudes
We can only be who we are; who we are sanctioned to be
Through trial and fire we were formed and through more fire shall we be refined
Your words and stones do not phase us,
We have been laden with assaults as long as we can hope to remember
So your judgments do not sentence us,
For we have made ourselves our own judges
Liberated from the corrupt and the pious
You do not know our stories,
Nor do you understand our hearts
You don’t care to know what we dream of at night,
Nor what we aspire to by day
You only see an image that you have been trained to prejudge
A rung on the social ladder that you can step on,
That way you are one step closer to your social goals
We are people,
Unlike you
But same somehow
We still feel, still care, still love,
We just do it a little better than you
Because we understand that you can never truly know someone
Until you give up the idea that you already know who they are.

It's strange how we
Scorn the poor
Pity the rich
Sell our children
Get married to children
Tax the elderly
Disrespect the elderly
Burn up oil
Burn up coal
Laugh at the dead
Dismiss the dying
Abuse the weak
Make fun of the weak
Hit our wives
Hate our wives
Blame our husbands
Shout at our husbands
****** animals
Test poisons on animals
Mock other countries
Invade other countries
Despise other races
Prejudge other races
Demean homosexuality
Spit on homosexuality
Disown our relatives
**** our relatives
They do say
There's nowt so queer as folk...

I’ve ingested the bigot —
imbibed his words in each step that falters,
felt the cruel weight of lies
in every doubt and deprecation,
muted judgement of the system
that I might prejudge myself
in ****** images he inscribes.
This fight will go down into the dark
caverns of unreason
until the morning of unknowing
shall expel the burrowing villain
that cannot live without destroying
his only host.
