Singing of children in the night silence: Light of the stream, and calm of the fountain! THE CHILDREN What does you heard hold, divine in its gladness? MYSELF A peal from the belltower, lost in the dimness. THE CHILDREN You leave us singing in the small plaza. Light of the steram, and calm of the fountain! What do you hold in your hands of sprintime? MYSELF A rose of blood, and a lily of whiteness. THE CHILDREN Dip them in water of the song of the ages. Light of the stream, and calm of the fountain! What does your tongue feel, scarlet and thirsting? MYSELF A taste of the bones of my giant forehead. THE CHILDREN Drink the still water of the song of the ages. Light of the stream, and calm of the fountain! Why do you roam far from the small plaza? MYSELF I go to find Mages and find princesses. THE CHILDREN Who showed you the road there, the road of the poets? MYSELF The fount and the stream of the song of the ages. THE CHILDREN Do you go far from the aerth and the ocean? MYSELF It's filled with light, is my heart of silk, and with bells that are lost, with bees and with liles, and I will go far off, behind those hills there, close to the starlight, to ask of the Christ there Lord, to return me my child's oul, ancient, ripened with legends, with a cap of feathers, and a sword of wood. THE CHILDREN You leave us singing in the small plaza. Light of the stream, and calm of the fountain! Enormous pupils of the parched palm fronds hurt by the wind, they weep their dead leaves.

DESTINY
I remember social standings stood standing on my own My face all red and flustered as I'd fidget with my phone. And all it would have taken, was a few kind simple words. To break those chains of ******* to return me to the world. Us humans we're a strange oul race we all like to fit in, and with our pack mentality it's all about the win. But what about those on the edge the souls you choose to fail. What is it, you think they feel as you turn away. See people carry things around like weights around their neck So please be understanding and show them some respect. Do onto them, all that you would like done onto your own. Meet them with a friendly smile, or call them on the phone. That call could make a difference more than you'd ever know. For its not really hard to care............ It helps us all to grow. For its not really hard to love............ Its not that hard to show.

Anxiety.
This world is full of angels full of devils in disguise. Like gargoyles faces on the wall, blending in before our eyes. The Christmas traffic, shuffling past... Young ones clutch their oul ones hands. Oblivious, to the worlds strange ways. Lost angels in a broken land. And the poor ****** on the corner sings, about a policeman from New York. A song probably older than his mother I'm hoping they still have each other. I'm hoping that his words fall easy. Gently, upon her ears. Cause he's looking kinda lonely now, Maybe no ones listening!

Gargoyles Faces
We all piled out of the pub ****** as a load of newts; 'Where to now boys?' Bellowed naughty Niall O 'Neill (that's notorious nineteen pints a night Niall) As he tottered over to his Pa's Rolls Royce. *'Do ye think ye should be driving With that record-breakin' skinful I just seen you put away?'* Enquired serious Sean slurringly From his slightly inconvenient Viewpoint in the beery gutter. So we all clambered gaily into the car And roared off into the enchanted night And then this ****** stupid clodhopper Who didn't even have his driving licence yet Came round the next corner in his Ford And got sent to Kingdom-sodding-Come. *'Oh **** would ye just look at the mess The oul' fella's made of me Daddy's car, And it's his pride and joy so it is!'* Cried Niall O'Neill in incandescent rage, As he surveyed the largest insurance claim In the County Wicklow for twenty years. How fortunate Father Tucker and Garda Sergeant O'Toole Could both testify from their vantage point In the front seat of the devastated Roller, The accident was not Niall's fault at all, at all, As the other stupid sober ****** was on The wrong side of the ****** street.

May I begin to say, "Now I lay me down to sleep,"                     as You just stand there staring blankly, *"I pray the Lord my Soul to keep,"*                      and as I chant these words Out of these painful lips.                      You begin to Understand this silence, and pain.                   And Longing to find any truth left in this trouble world.         You join me with Trying to figure Out why people are always running. Running to nowhere-land.            STOP! Take a breath.             Take a moment for yourself. And "if I die before I wake"...                I will Keep this positive mind, because In. The. End; Positive thoughts will conquer all! And ..."I pray the Lord my SOUL to take." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ***Now I lay me down to sleep,                                                  I pray the Lord my soul to keep,                                                                                                     if I die before I wake                                    I pray the Lord MY. SOUL. TO. TAKE.***

my SOUL to take
There amongst the wilderness. Where creatures big and small roam free. There amongst the overgrown, thats where they'd find you and me. The wind that shakes the barley, whistling in our freezing ears. You'll find us in the long grass, hiding from the same old fears. Well its known we're not alone. there's many more besides. All hiding in the long grass, fighting with the same oul pride. With the wind that shakes the barley. Forever whistling in their ears. They'll join us there, the country air, amongst the winds that kiss the breeze.

The Long Grass
Broken are the roses. The garden doesn't seem the same. And every breeze that passes through, forever, whispering your name. And then there comes the moments, The ones where one feels all alone. Lost upon the roses, where memories were born and grown. Maybe I could plant one now And you can help it grow. You can bring the sunshine, the light that melts the Winter's snow. Upon those cold oul mornings, when we feel lost and afraid. You'll be growing roses, shining through the mornings haze.

The Roses.
Like a wisp of the wind Silently she treads Delicately like a snail Leaving its silky threads On a winding trail Scars from a battle She fought years gone by Hiding behind red socks Pulled up tight and high There is blood on the rocks Snatched from her oul A gentle reminder Of the trail and the thread And of her stockings As so silently she treads.

$OUL
Standing on a cliff with others, close, so close.............. so close to death. Standing, staring at the sea, staring, glaring, each one sharing, our oul doubts and deep regrets. Tales of how we crash and burn, staring at a dying sun. Lessons learned, lessons shared. Remember someone always cares. You may never know their name, but every single soul shares shame. Shame about the way we live, how we find it hard to give A high horse, seems to sit so well with this world, the ones who tell. Tell us how to live our lives, trying to dictate your mind. Trying to dictate your mind, the blind men, leading on the blind.
