hannah
i sent a leaf
down the river
it was easier than
folding paper boats
and
swimming
upstream

i watched it leave
down the river
it said goodbye
father rock
mother tree
and
cascaded
downstream
Too lost
To find
Words, far behind

Bridges everywhere
No destination
Destined

Spaces built
Indoors empty
Felt

Don’t look deep
The end‘s nowhere
To find

I used to think I was an anxious child.

Now, I realize my parents
Could never accept my love.
Why does the angel
relent their raise
of perturbed pupils
to better ways?
About: Is a good person a good person if they make no effort to demonstrate the value of their goodness? To share it? How much effort is enough to help others see the right way?

You remind me of snow flakes
Carelessly fall down
Free from the binds of your cloud
Hidden until found

Your icy kisses on my cheek
Chilling me to the bone
Yet your presence bound and beautiful
Is what tears me down
When one's love is so cold that it hurts. So distant you almost imagine it.
Sitting
Sinking
Into cloud landing

Falling through
Still sleeping
In white dust

Will my toes
Ever touch
The ground

Or will I be
Stuck - eyes closed
Forever

In a daydream

Damocles
If love had the power to heal,
I would press these lips against your flesh,
kissing away your wounds.
So that you could become the mantis and devour me anyway.
