Poetry give a voice to a prison inmate
he show emotions
Poetry is evolution of man capabilities
to see beyond the clouds
Poetry is art with kaleidoscope images
With the eyes
    of an double-edge sword
That dug deeper into ones soul
Poetry is a purge for a dark soul
That clog ones’ artery
Poetry is fighting words against
An ill manner society
Poetry is an untimely wave
It never ceases to amaze us

Poetry is a stage plays: plays out
and became a big part in the court room drama
While the defense lawyers demonstrated
Their incompetence in many ways
If the gloves don't fit,
you must acquit.

Poetry is the flags we wave during
An uprising, as we protest again Apartheid
Poetry is the language that every poet
Want to translate into categories
Poetry is a threat to the man in higher power
As he sit upon his thrones

Poetry is the pacifier to a baby
As the lullabies and nursery rhyme soothe him to sleep
Poetry is the key to a romance
as the relationship loses its flavor
Poetry is an sale pitch
Its sell itself throughout history
Poetry is an eye opener it can break you
Or make you repeat tongue twisting words
Poetry is proverbs, Psalms and Eulogies
As it release ones souls into the unknown

Poetry is the key that bring us together
As we fall apart
Poetry is what held the slaves together
Through a time of injustice
Poetry is looking at the sun, the moon
And the stars, as we say silly words
“How lovely the moon looks tonight”
If only I could touch the stars, I  would place one
In your lovely hair as we gaze into each other eyes.

Poetry is the recall of a poet bad romance
That gone sour
Poetry is the seasons of poems as it rolls with
The elements of the weather
Poetry is the voice of a mute poet
Who perform in silence while the
audience read his mind

The Poem was inspired by Emilio Villa

Belle
I’m sinking deep,
deep into my own thoughts,
thoughts that could consume me,
thoughts that could drown me.

I’m sinking deep,
deep into the vast blue ocean,
the ocean of only me,
and no one else.

I’m sinking deep,
trying to swim upwards,
upwards against the gravity,
the gravity that pulls me down.

I’m sinking deep,
running out of breath,
breath to move my muscles,
I’m tired of struggling.

I’m sinking deep,
so deep that my voice can’t be heard,
on the surface,
on the land.

I’m sinking deep,
so deep that it seems hopeless,
and impossible to leave,
leave by myself.

I’m sinking deep,
so deep that I can’t do anything,
I can only wait for help,
the help that will never come.

I’m sinking deep,
trying to compromise,
compromise with the currents,
compromise with the waters.

I’m sinking deep,
deep into the vast blue ocean,
hoping I could find some comfort,
comfort from the nature.

Deep  in my heart , deep in my heart,
I need Thy Holy Spirit, Deep in my heart,
Fill with Thy fulness,Lord, fill with Thy power,
Come in Thy majesty and touch me this hour.

Deep in my heart, deep in my heart,
I need Thy full compassion, deep in my heart,
Fill with Thy tenderness, fill with Thy care,
Give me a loving  heart Thy burdens to share.

Deep in my heart, deep in my heart,
I need a perfect cleansing deep in my heart,
Reach to its darkest depths, search every part,
Cleanse me from every spot, Thy love now
                                                                               impart.

Deep in my heart, deep in my heart,
I need a new anointing deep in my heart,
Send now Thy burning fire, burn all the dross,
Help me to stand for Thee and count all else
                                                                                loss.

Deep in my heart, deep in my heart,
I need Thy faith triumphant deep in my heart,
O make me worthy . Lord with Thee to reign,
When for thy loving Bride Thou comest again.

Hurt people hurt people
It's all that we seem to do.
Sometimes I wonder
Will we ever learn people?
Because there are way too many
Hurt people.

As strong as love is
We say we love people.
Things change and get
rough and tough
Then we abandon people.
Instead of working it out
to become better people.
We get lost in our
Emotions and thoughts
And become bitter people.

We seek out other people
To feel loved again
Hoping for a redo
Something like a sequel
only to realize
When it's over that we've
Become more scared
And tainted people.
And the cycle continues.
Until we can no longer
Trust people

I have no idea why
Hurt people hurt people
The very act is oh so feeble
To love each other equal?
I doubt we ever will
As long as hurt people
hurt people.

Even religious people
can hurt people
they find God's love
and think they can judge people
Like there isn't any evil
Going on inside that cathedral
Like they've forgotten what it's like
To be amongst the struggling people
Yeah, prayer changes and helps but
We are all the same people
sane people
Living in an insane world
Filled with unanswered questions.
Which is probably why
We can't be peaceful.

I will never know why
Hurt people hurt people
The very act is oh so feeble
To love each other equal?
I doubt we ever will
As long as hurt people
hurt people

So as I sit at home alone
And peer out of my peephole
I wonder what has caused
All this evil
That makes these hurt people
hurt people.

People
People born, people die
people torn, people cry
people smile, people frown
people style, people crown
people rock, people roll
people mock, people poll
people drive, people walk
people thrive, people talk
people play, people don't
people stay, people won't
people love, people hate
people shove, people mate
people win, people lose
people spin, people choose
people cheat, people steal
people greet, people feel
people happy, people shun
people snappy, people done
people ****, people swallow
people duck, people hollow.
People come all sorts of ways,
all but criminals, I give praise.

I fear him
The him I carry inside
It doesn't control the heart
But it controls the mind
I'm afraid to go in there
Because I'm afraid of what I'll find
Me looking blankly back at me
The me I know has basically died

My Dear Poet
I only weep
when my tears say so

I only bleed
when my heart says “flow”

I only think
when my mind says “know”

I only die
when my life says “go”.
The irony of free will

White Eagle
On one side are past traumas
The other side the audience
There's a mountain to explain, and attention spans are razor thin
So to cut the message across, brevity I'm told is key
You hold on to the edges of your seat
But I'm hiding behind me
The 'Me' is an empty shell, inside it stuffed with things
conformity, fear of being judged, and smiles
there's ego, pride and shame, all of them raised up by fear
birthed by the illusion of control
and so the story goes:
there was pain, there was hurt
there was heart, and there was love
