The last ever roar
Of the mighty lion fades;
The vultures gather.
I love someone I can't love anymore
And it haunts me to my bones
Engulfed within the swirling black of night,
I searched for answers to my horrid plight;
The hours seemed too long to be erased,
and minutes flew as shadows in the chase.

To rectify the madness of my torment,
I prayed for God to hear my soul's lament;
And turn it into something real and true,
which I could understand in common view.

I wondered if the haunting wraiths began,
to catch my heart alone in lurid plan;
And when the smoke enveloped me in waves,
the bleakness seemed just like an earthly grave.

While questioning if Heaven could arouse,
a complex mission toward my holy vows;
I looked and saw a light which rose above,
and felt the angels shower me with love.
As the light of day begins to rise, the earth revolves and the eagle cries.
A smoke like mist over field and river, as if to a time of bow and quiver.
Dew of the morning drips down off the thistle, and a glow on the trees mark of nights reluctant dismissal.
The higher the sun the brighter the forest, the birds in their perches sing a welcoming chorus...

Hey darling,
Not sure if I ever told you
You know I'm afriad of being bold
But you should definitely know

I've never trusted anyone fully
Never let myself go completely
I don't beleive in any of the mushy gooey

But you, I guess you got me
I'm afraid to let it take control
When I do it's never wrong
You're where I belong

From swinging at night
To playing tic tac toe
Dressing you in clothes
Telling secrets no one else knows

You're my best friend
Always have been from the beginning
It's not that I don't love others
You're just so special to me
Closer then my sister and brothers

❤️

Starry
Ahhh the perfect sunset
As i get my
Cellphone to
Take a picture of the scenery
It disappears
Strange
-
the pond moth flaunted its wings
in the remorseless water
wider than it would
when in the meadow sky
there dead-white it laid
like an opened orchid
just a fragment of another unfinished poem in my notebook
