There are so many kids dying of cancer,
And I'm here dragging a blade through my skin.
Life is so unfair,
Why can't I just die instead of them?
A "poem" every day.

i'm more likely to die
in my own hands
then by ******
I'm in a really dark place right now.

Don't get me wrong,
I am happy
That you are out there
Living your dream.

You're out there
Seeing the whole world
Day by day.

I just wish
I was a part of that dream.

is like being stuck
in an endless game of tag
where you are always "it."
At least, that's what it seems like to me.

For lust is a tightrope,
soldering fickle hearts, sewing passion.
Fade at its end,
or tumble into love.
Some hope woos smother,
contemplates the fall
To stir a velvet landing,
and dances slow.

She in her unbidden trance,
her golden hair littered,
sits in prayer, fidgets;
snuffed from the fall.
Forlorn, for an indulgent sliver.
Now lies a cold lover,
in her morphine bedlam.

The baby can't stop crying
As she places it in the box
She finds a dumpster to throw it in
As she walks along the docks

There was nothing else, she could do
A mother, at only fifteen
She hurries away as fast as she can
As she hears her baby scream

A runaway, she's all alone
An addict, for years on crack
Her baby left alone to die
But still, she won't turn back

Thrown away, like a piece of trash
A baby, without a name
An innocent child abandoned
By a mother who bears no blame

Another victim of circumstance
Shamelessly, cast aside
With no one there to hear it's cries
The abandoned baby died
