Dad, I know you would not want me to say..
but I miss you every single day.

You were my hero from an early age
my guardian, my teacher, my wisely sage.

You and Mum raised us all with such love.
Handling us all with kitten gloves.

Your knowledge and experiences you would freely impart.
You really were oh so smart.

There was nothing you wouldn't do
To keep your Family close to you.
An arm to hold us, stop us falling down.
An ear to listen when no one else was around.

You were strength
You were smart
You were fun
You were loyal
You were our rock

We won't forget you Dad, you'll never leave our hearts.

Love you **
It would have been my Dads birthday on Sunday, two days after my Daughters, four days after my Grandaughters.

He would have been 84.

My Dads been gone for two years now but I miss him every day.

Since last November ive written and self published three children's books and it is my only regret that my Dad didn't get to see this I know he would have been so proud.

I will be visiting a local place very dear to us on Sunday and raising a glass to my beloved Dad.

Thank you for listening **
Sometimes life is not easy, let’s cry to him.
At times life throws scary things to us.
Sometimes life is a misunderstanding to us.
So, let us pray to God, Pray to him.
No matter what, we will praise him.
No matter what, he had a good plan for us.
He may look so far away from us,
But with faith and trust we will pray to him.

We had been through thick and thin
He is our messiah, during the day and night.
As long as we live, we will trust on you.
Coronavirus no coronavirus, we will pray to him.
We will listen to his voice day and night.
God of Jesus, no matter what we trust in you.

i cry myself to sleep at night
i shift side to side
pointlessly
as the pain just follows

i can't trace its roots
everything just aches
whether if i'm asleep
or wide awake
The streets are bare as
the cherry blossoms still bloom.
Life will carry on.

A walk in the woods
will still be enjoyable,
while six feet apart.

Slow down and observe
the beat of nature, for it
is good for the soul.
Three Haikus I wrote because I was inspired during these crazy times

We step into existence from beyond the veil
With our fate stamped upon our souls.
Marking distinctions between science and faith
We find ourselves advancing through the cycle of life.
The Leapster or Leap Year baby
Shares a joke with the cosmos
Flouting our concept of time
To be born within times eternal spring
In life's cycle of ever green
We look to the stars
In order to be seen.
Forgetting to remember,
destiny sold
is eternity shamed

Forgetting to remember,
letters well placed
still call out your name

Forgetting to remember,
providence anointed
is innocence lost

Forgetting to remember,
what’s bought with your freedom
—blood the true cost

my love for you started when I first saw you
The way your smile is engraved in my mind
I won't ever forget it
But your love is not mine
it belongs to the girl I introduced you to
it hurt to hear her say the words she loves you
because little does she know I do too

These tears
Will leave.
I know it.
I made them..
You just don't-
Don't know why..
They appeared
In the first place.
I've been wanting to write about what I felt and I finally did. I just had to stop thinking.
