The world's end
The world's end is near.
That is very clear.
It's like a blackness or darkness ******* me in and I enjoy every piece of it.
It's very comforting.
I see the fire.
The burning flames.
The chaos.
Everything turning to ashes.
It's not pretty.
The grass is dying and now is a black pond of dirt.
The echos of people dying is overwhelming and I sit down and look around.
The orange sky hitting my eyes with a passion.
It's not a good thing.
The roses dying slowly.
The crowd gasping for air.
The world's end is finally here.
And I'm here to witness it.

She can walk

Between those fantasy worlds

They call the two Salks

Walking back and forth

Nobody noticed

She noted

But she’s unaware

She’s queen of her soul

The lord of her role

A child without love

Grew up

Without a person watching above

She’s beautiful, but sad

She never had a dad

Not too glad

But then she found

A place safe and sound

With true love crowned.

Our world passes another at close range
we can see the inhabitants of the other world
waving to us—planning on passing through
but our gravitational fields switch
and we fall into each other's worlds
seeing the beauty of what the other has experienced
before we hit the ground.
Andrew Layman Jul 2020
Such angry hunger pains
how the world quivers and shakes,
while men and women
fresh from their work,
whisper the toll it takes;
as clay forms lay listening
glistening, and salted in their beds.

However, not an alarm is raised
not a single head turns
we are safe, comes the lie
we are secure, comes the swallowed pill.

As we close our eyes
and prepare for borrowed sleep
I think with great dismay:
oh, what a difference,
does indifference make for us sheep.
