wet
you make me wet
without even
having
to
touch
me

Vapour drapes high,
Precipitation h2o falls,
Dehydrated no more.

I am undone and all my wanton ways are nothing
my wishes now but clay. I am the dry husk of a man
defeated by machinery.

Ah, but should the mercy of your redemptive tears
tattoo my face and moist forgiveness give me hope
would there be awakening.

The damp soil beneath your naked toes
fevers at your flesh to send you reeling
into deeper dark adventures.

Until the final breathless gasp
the voice of angels crying in your skin
Awakens my fertile humanity.

Leave those toys and that blessed car
we will wallow in the damp grass.
I  do not believe this to be troublesome but if you have concerns I will listen to your reasoning

As the clouds muster in the overcast
It is the sun with a dark cloth like a mast
The earth draws dark
It is the environment about to make its mark
The watery of rain
The grass and trees in how they sustain
The soothing feel from agonizing pain
Later the rain poured harder
Now it was becoming a matter
A showery stream
Oh that cleansing of clean
Drip upon drip
It seemed like it wouldn’t stop
But continued rain upon
It didn’t stop until it was done
Yet the rain was a relaxing shower
It seemed like the rain came down by the hour
But the rain certainly does have power
It nourishes the flowers and our selves
There nothing like real rain which you won’t find on any shelf.

Hiding under the colorful umbrellas,
We are all gloomy cindrellas.
Staring at the pools of water,
One splash, and we are ready to slaughter!
***** laces,
Scornful faces,
Such a wonderful rain,
But, we are all dashing for the train.
"What's the matter?
Let's take a stop for some chatter."
"Come on! I don't wanna get late!
You should rush too, my mate!
Look what the rain has done,
Ruined my beautiful jacket, my one and the only one!"
"Ah! Such a delightful weather,
And all you care about is your leather?!
Here take my umbrella,
I want to drench like a mad fellah!"
Then, I let my head out,
Popped out like a new sprout,
Rain sprayed, some sugar and salt,
Rush hour came to a halt.
One tiny drop flowed down my brow,
And heard me take a whispered vow,
"Never will I take another umbrella,
Every time it rains it will be a new novella!!"
One day I went out in the rain and saw an array of brilliantly colored umbrellas. The umbrellas were saving the people from the rain but they were also hiding them from the joy of the rains....I went back home and created this image and poem... http://artbeyondboredom.blogspot.in/2014/01/out-in-rain.html

Cold,
Wet,
Rememberance,
Flowing,
Silence,
Deafaning.

Rain,
Everything we need and don't,
Good and bad,
Memories we want to remember but also ones we want to forget.
