When it all boils down to it...

We truly are a momentary blip on a cosmic radar;
A momentary cluster of elements
Blessed with an incredibly limited-yet-inflated programming.

Now define "reality."

But we waste our time with fear and hate;
We concern ourselves with the mundane and the fleeting;
We invest in indulgences that leave us feeling more and more empty.

You are a single drop of water floating in a vast infinity of the cosmos.
The timeline will perceive you the very same way
You perceive that 1/10000th of a second that happened last week
(When you remembered a funny joke and giggled at nothing)

I see hysterics in the world;
Find the same thing when my escape goes digital.
I see people who think too highly of themselves...
(as though the end of their journey will represent a different death than our own)
I see people who think so lowly of themselves...
(that they're willing to throw away the splendor and mystery of tomorrow just to escape the hells of today)

When will we accept that we are human?
Wonderfully terrible, terribly wonderful;
Brilliantly stupid and idiotically ingenious;
Generous degenerates; selfish saints;
Complex-yet-simple humans!
Nothing more and nothing less!

Live not to be immortal,
But to show what greater gift limitations offers us:
Greater appreciation of what each moment represents.
Live for yourself,
So that, when you find yourself at he end of that road and looking back,
You can say "**** yea; I made that fleeting moment my own."

This is not said to scare or intimidate;
It's said to INSPIRE!
You ARE brief!
You ARE insignificant!
So stop concerning yourself;
Anything and anybody can waste that already precious time.
Rid yourselves of the poisons
That would turn the beautiful translucence of the water droplet representing you into a putrid blot of poison that the Universe would sooner forget.
Freedom isn't all flowers
And it isn't day dreams for hours
It isn't always your favourite taste
Redemption isn't always the case

In fact, freedom likes to give us choices
It's the reason we can use our voices
Try on words of all kinds
Thoughts on repeat change our minds

Freedom has a lesson to teach
That we all will learn eventually
A wretched vice of love internally
Permitting our suffering certainly

Freedom isn't all flowers
And it isn't high skies and towers
It's a power of will so specially
Designed for us to guide our destiny

In truth, freedom is like the spirit
Neutral to life but ever coherent
Providing us the great option
Of sleeping, or becoming conscious

Freedom has a message to send:
Forever within you can transcend
Trust the person you are within
For our lives are never stone written.

Boundaries are in our minds
The land is for us to inhabit
Peace will prevail
If we transcend our mind’s boundaries
Am I still alive, or is this all just memories?
Am I on my death bed,looking back at at my misadventures and fallacies?
Am I slipping in to the abyss, are these my last thoughts?
Is this my pinnacle, did I ever learn what I have been taught?
Did I live the life I hoped for and envisioned,
Or have I lived a life full of regrets because of my decisions?
Did I find love or did I wallow in hate?
Did I practice what I preach and fight against what people call "fate",
Or did I submit to my anxiety and fears?
I can't help but wonder is this ink so wet because of all my future tears?...
I'll wait and see and what is Ment to be will be, if it suits me.
But I'll have to wait and see

Diving into the darkness
surfing through the void
life without a safety net
no parachute, no ripcord

Letting go of everything
no limits, no taboos
just merging of identities
no more me's or you's

Following the dynamic
breaking all the rules
learning to transcend
what makes humans fools

Pain and degradation
is my path, my destiny
I might lead or follow you
until we are both free

So take my hand
we'll make that leap
we'll cross the line
there's no return, but that's fine
