Eleanor Rigby Aug 2014
In a room
The colour of the dawn
I turn the lights off
And you turn them back on.

I keep your shirt on
And you lift mine.

I kiss your lips
And you pull away
Quickly reaching down
Between my legs.

I open my eyes
To find yours wide awake
Exploring every inch of me
As if that's all there is.

And maybe that's all you see.
But I just want you to love me.
Rather than simply **** me.

Invocation Aug 2014
A chirpy little bird
A notion reaffirmed
From egg to box to room
You preen your emerald plume
I love you, Roombird
By the Amazing Bobble

In the hotel room
You feel more at home

You sleep better without

Without anything
Without everything

Without real life

Depriving yourself
As martyrs often do
Nandini Aug 2014
Writing poems bout you
I hang them in my room
The wind clinking the sound of words

Living in a glass house
I invite the sun every dawn to dusk
To dispel shadows of the dark words
Meaningfully they glaze on hopeful strings

But I let the water be the door
Where my  translucent  emotions flow
There the words roar and tranquil

**Last but not least on firm ground I stand
Where in my hands' clay the words mindlessly play
Moulding them in canvases to string them once again
Blending the elements to create a room where I want to write poetry !!
(Summer 2014)

In the room where a fan waves at me
Screaming!
The night comes in tired and sweaty
Nothing but a dull moment
Dressed naked and inconsolable
And walking all over me
Grinning

If I could only measure
The thickness of time
Like dust rising every minute
From one's own flesh
Waiting to be lifted
Dead of the night
Ruled by zombies
Reanimates
Night after night

Here I am
Time has caught up
Departing dreams
Was once dense
Bounded chances letting go
Waiting for next return

Streams of hope
Lightly drifting apart
Or hollow dreams
Staring at me with an evil eye
Looking back through you
As you slowly thin out
Until something comes along....

Tonight
I tried holding you around my arms
But you have turned against me
As I leave the room
Reality comes back
There!
Click clack click clack tipity tap....
Wall
I see an indentation
I fill you
My empty hours
Room grew pale
Like white ash
Folding eyelids
Fell into abyss
Nocturnal space evolved
Scattered like silvery dots
Between my ego
Remain seated
With pride
And a glinting ceiling
Watchful like moon

Wall
You gravitate slowly
Toward center
Like a sulkiest universe
Sprouting!
You lean over my shoulder
I shrug you off
Tilts against my back
I turned over
Merged those dots
I wish to blend
It disappeared!
All colors in me
Vanished ...
As it cleared away
Everything was wasted
Left deep marks
On yours
My eyes opened
I wailed!
Silence stared at me
She was there
Pounding
Cold
In black.....

Here take my seat
Instead.
