So you pass it every day now,
  that book just lying there.
You know that you should read it;
  such riches there to share!

It's not just decoration,
  all covered up in dust.
If you'll read a couple pages,
  then in God just place your trust!

He will open up your eyes now
  if you'll only scriptures read;
He will change your life forever,
  yes, He'll fill you full indeed!

You can read 'bout any passage
  that My Heavenly Father spoke,
And find something so important
  that will give your heart a poke!

There is so much in those Scriptures
  that will help you grow always.
It's a book that every Christian
  should read near every day!

You can talk to God My Father
  as you go to Him in prayer;
Then His answers He has written
  in Those Scriptures lying there!

So when you see it on that table
  as your walking out the door,
Pick it up and read it's pages
  and He'll bless you ten times more!

When the darkness shrouds around us,
  and life's storms all come our way;
Know My God still holds the future,
  and the sun will rise today!

For He knows our every battle,
  every little thing we do;
He is always watching 'ore us,
  and He'll always see us through!

Yes, we've all seen troubled waters,
  had our lives rocked to and fro;
Know we've got Him as Our Captain,
  and He's always in control!

As the lightning strikes around us
  and the thunder's deafening roar;
He will guide us through our troubles,
  so we'll reach the other shore!

Oh there's times we'll be so fearful,
  not a hope on which to stand;
Then He'll keep and show us comfort,
  in the hollow of His Hand!

Yes there's days our faith will falter,
  you can doubt Him if you dare;
Yet He'll always be Our Anchor,
When we need Him, He is there!

Now you see when trials gather,
  trust in Him for all your days;
Know My Lord will comfort give you,
  and He'll calm those angry waves!

There's one thing now I know in life;
   My God will answer prayer.
He watches 'ore me night and day,
   my burdens for to bear!

He's willing to forgive my sin,
   if simply I will ask;
He'll heal the wounds, the broken hearts,
   and leave them in the past!

Don't worry 'bout those little things,
   just give them all to God;
He'll show you He is in control
   in ANY life we trod!

When ever feeling all alone,
   just trust in this one thing-
My God is always by your side;
   your sheltered 'neath His wing!

He's sure to let some hard times come,
   He let's us feel some pain;
He'll make our hearts more pliable,
   with heat from trial's flame!

Don't EVER get so down and out
   and think He's left your side,
Just turn and look - He's standing there,
   with arms spread open wide!

So think about this in your life,
   when Satan means you harm;
My God has got you safely wrapped-
   in comfort of His Arms!

There is coming a special day,
   when I'll see my Saviour's face;
When the dead in Christ shall rise
   since He saved me by His grace!

As those Angel's trumpet sound,
   He will take us by the hand;
Lead us to our Final Home,
   nestled up in Beaulah Land!

No more heartaches will be known,
   not one tear will dim the eye;
As the storms of life all pass,
   not a cloud left in the sky!

Once we've crossed inside those gates,
   no more burdens more to bear;
No more parting, no more pain,
   not one sorrow over there!

We'll live forever on that shore,
   never grow a bit more old;
Time in Heaven will not count,
   as we'll walk those streets of gold!

Don't you think I'm poor or lonely,
   this 'ole world is not my home;
For I'm just-a-passin' through-
   thinking 'bout that place I'll roam!

When to Heaven I've ascended,
   could be morning night or noon;
With My Jesus right beside me-
   Heaven's Angels all in tune!

I can hear those trumpets sounding,
   yes I know I'm Heaven bound:
Since I found Him as My Saviour,
   I'll receive a harp and crown!

There's times in life I feel I'll break;
   a pain I cannot stand.
It's in those times I often hide
   in Hollow of His Hand!

He helps me through the toughest times;
    those times I feel are hard.
It's in these times He lends a hand-
   a hand so worn and scarred!

With gentle hand He leads and guides
   me through life's weary way.
He'll be there to protect me,
   when times I go astray!

My Father's Hands are mighty hands;
   His touch can calm the seas!
My Lord can do just anything
   with greatest sense of ease!

With healing Hands He healed the sick,
   He made the lepers well,
And anytime He spoke the word,
   not once did ever fail!

My Father's Hands are nail-pierced Hands-
   a sign of sacrifice;
He bore our load upon that cross,
   our sins is why He died!

Now one day soon I'm going Home-
   to Home in Beaulah Land;
To see My Jesus face to face,
   to touch His nail-scarred Hands!

Devil just can't get a hold of me
'Cause God's life and death has set me free
Devil just can't keep me down
'Cause not even death could keep Jesus in the ground
Devil won't take my eyes
'Cause Jesus has power over the prince of lies
Devil don't own my heart
'Cause God made me his right from the start
Devil can't bind my hands
'Cause God has my life under his commands
Devil won't hold my feet
'Cause Jesus stood strong when taking heat
Devil won't steal my soul
'Cause Jesus is he who fills the hole
Devil can't steal my strength
'Cause Jesus is my rock, refuge, and with him I'll go great lengths
Devil don't bind my chest
'Cause when I'm at my weakest, God's at his best
Devil just can't hold me back
'Cause God will protect me from attack
Devil can't control my *****
'Cause God satisfies  fully when, to his, our hearts we join

Blazing hot with the Holy Spirit
The devil runs for fear of it
To God I give my entire being
His power sends the devil fleeing
When Jesus is present on my mind
I can leave the devil far behind
In Christ's eternal perfect love
Devil says: "Aye, there's the rub"
In faith and trust I hold to hope
Feet are firm against the devil's steep *****
In God I take great joy and delight
That the devil can't hope to steal my light
Jesus is my source of peace
Devil won't win but he doesn't cease
To God I sing hymns of praise
To fend off the devil's cold embrace
To serve the Lord is a great honor
My life was saved by a blood donor
To God be power and wonder and glory

Jesus is the lover of my soul
Devil just don't have any control

This lonesome earth is not my home
I'm just wanderin' through
I'm waiting on my chariot ride
To home beyond the blue!
There's just a few more roads to cross
A few more wars to fight
There's but one moment left on earth
Until I take my flight!
What glorious moment that will be
He'll come with outstretched hand
To lead us to that marvelous place
Our Home in Beulah Land!
With sudden splendor He'll arrive
His Angels gathered 'round
We'll know that moment when it comes
When Heaven's trumpets sound!
I'm now so ready for that day
To see My Saviour arrive
Could be this morning, noon and night
We'll break through Heavenly skies!
I hope your ready when rapture comes
To take us to our Home,
If you've trusted in God's saving grace
On Heaven's shores you'll roam!
We can't imagine what glory will be
What splendor there awaits,
When on that day we'll walk and run
Through Heaven's Pearly Gates!

There's something 'bout My God's dear grace,
Where peace and love abound
Once deep in sin, He rescued me
Once lost but now I'm found!
He died for us so long ago
Our sins to all forgive
He bore our burdens on that cross,
He died so we could live!
God sent His Son right down to earth
A man like you and me
He felt the pain of martyr's death
On hill called Calvary!
A short time later after death
My Jesus rose again,
A perfect sign of second chance
Since rescued from my sin!
He plucked me out and gave me life
He's filled my soul with joy
I once was blind, but now I see
How sin was Satan's ploy!
I have no fear to leave this earth
As death has lost it's sting
Now I can't wait since I've been found
To hear those Angels sing!
I know My Lord is coming soon,
Can't wait to leave this place,
A Heavenly joy now fills my soul
All thanks to God's dear grace!

Everytime I think about,
  what My Gods done for me;
The more I give my life to Him,
  more mercy I can see!

It blows my mind to think how long,
  I ran the other way;
Thank God, My Shepherd found this sheep,
  This one that went astray!

He called my name, then brought me in,
  from sinful life I lived;
He talked to me and paved the way,
  My sins to ALL forgive!

Now each new step I take in life,
  My Lord now close beside;
He walks with me each night and day;
  He matches every stride!

Such joy and grace I've came to know,
  since God came in my soul;
Such hapiness and peace I have,
  Since giving Him control!

When now in life the hard times come,
  His arms are open wide;
He gives me shelter in those arms,
  A loving place to hide!

Now looking toward my Heavenly home,
  since death has lost it's sting;
I'm sheltered now from all life's storms,
  Beneath My Saviour's Wing!!
