Hard times have come among us. Are we all prepared. Have you taken the time to teach your children so they can teach their own how to live off of the land one day.  That day is closer than we all want to admit. Survival without starvation of your loved ones is inevitable if  they haven't been taught how their ancestors survived back in the day.  If posed the question where honey comes from, would they even know what to say?  Honey has to be robbed from the hole in that tree swarmed with millions of honey bees, milk that we drink or mix with recipes for our bread made from scratch every day , comes from the cows ***** milked by your own hands, the eggs must be gathered early in the morning from the hen houses where they are laid. The wheat fields must be picked along with the soy and every vegetable we eat, sugar that sweetens our tea came from that sugar cane . All of the luxury's of  seafood must be caught with a net from the sea , the fish that we eat from many different bodies of water , just remember to watch for the bear in that spring catching the jumping trout. You see for the way we are hunting our meat other animals already know how.  I hope that your wealth is abundant to survive in these coming days but most will fall short of the prices in the grocery stores to feed their families . Teach your children to teach their own all these things they need to know because the day is coming more near than we think that the only way to survive will be hunting prey and eating food that with our own hands we've  grown. Teach them the difference between their wants and needs as they will have to know the difference. Stop giving them everything they ask and start making them earn what they get. Teach your son's how to provide for their family, how to hunt and fish and farm, teach your daughters how to prepare homemade meal's that don't consist of a box, how to cook it over the heat of a camp stove that they have to cut the wood to keep it hot.
Prepare your children how to survive on their own for the day is near. The prices at the store are already too much . It's our place as parents to prepare our children for what's to come

The night fisher

The night fisher waits patiently;
No conversation necessary.
His wife at home with hand on phone,
Is disturbing his peace.

They met as childhood sweethearts
And now they don’t even speak.
She talks, he listens, they get along;
But they haven’t kissed in weeks.

She says she has to dash.
The food is in the oven, the doorbell rings,
There is another call
And the baby needs its ***** changing.

He says goodbye without I love you.
They haven’t spoken in a while.
He can’t recall the last time he meant it;
He turns back to his solitude and raises himself a smile.

It’s peaceful now,
He can relax,
Not worry about who she is with.
He knows one day he will kick the bucket
And someone else will raise the kid;
But he is not thinking about that now.
He came here to forget.
He comes here every chance he can get.
Some claim that he is wed.

A ring upon his finger is only a disguise.
He wears it only for one reason…

To keep away more lies.

My Baby's gone fishing
I hope he catches himself a treat
For us both to eat
And when he comes back home
I'll make him a meal
Of bread and butter

On boat somewhere
Is where I'd like to be
Lost at sea
waves crashing
Warm nights
hold you tight
Drifting floating
on a boat
Sunsets like fire
the pure desire
to be lost at sea
catching fish
making dinner
on a boat
enjoying the drifting
it's such a beautiful feeling
freedom & a boat
so grab your gear
let's get outta here
Let's go fishing
take the boat
she will get us
lost at sea

My life is like an old fishing net
Each knot a reason why I am who I am
Overall effective, supposedly worth something
But old nets have holes
Each hole another reason to throw it away
Even golden thread couldn’t fix me

I still catch fish though
Even a small one is something to eat

Ladies earrings compared to fishing hooks

I saw a man fishing today
Trying to catch is daily meal.
He pulled up a triggerfish
But I was the one to squeal!
“How wonderful!” I said to him
“You like have?” I heard him ask.
I said, “No, I am not the kind
Trained to the fish cleaning task.

“But what about your family?”
I asked him as he toiled.
“I gonna catch another one!
Nothin’ gonna be spoiled.
I go fish every single day
Right here from the sea.
Kauai treats us very nice
She always good to me.”

He said he would clean it
And then he did just that,
Right **** then and there,
While I just watched and sat.
And I took that fish home
To share with my family.
It was a real Hawaiian miracle,
Or seemed that way to me.

It amazes me at this stage,
After living in such big cities,
That I felt little aloha there,
And that is a major pity.
For here in these islands
The concept of love and sharing
Replaced what I saw mainland side,
Hostility and suspicious staring.

People seem happier here
Now I’ve been here fifteen years.
Maybe it’s the lovely weather
Or maybe my lack of fear
That someone will make me
Move away from paradise.
Nobody better try it because
I won’t think that’s very nice.
