In the realm where whispers doth dance and time standeth still,
Three voices rise, with purpose sharp and will.
Perfume, Scent, and Fragrance, in a sacred throng,
Declare their truths, each claiming right and song.

Perfume spake, with elegance refined,

“I am the soul of artistry, confined
To bottle's clasp, a crafted dream,
A potion made to linger, to gleam.
I bear the weight of ancient lore,
A muse of kings, of lovers, and more.
I am not mere essence, drifting free—
I am the art of memory."

Scent, a fleeting shadow, whispered low,

"Thou boastest of power, of permanence, I know,
But I am life—breathe in, and then I fade,
In wind, in rain, in every glade.
Not bound to glass nor vials that bind,
I slip through cracks, a breath unlined.
I linger soft on fleeting air,
A reminder of the earth, everywhere."

Fragrance, in silence, sought to intervene,

“Is it not I who weave both worlds unseen?
I am the union of the pure and the real,
The fleeting touch, the lasting feel.
I grace thy skin, I fill the room—
A subtle dance, an endless bloom.
Without me, perfume would not endure,
Without me, scent would not be pure."

The argument raged, in circles vast,
Each voice demanding, steadfast, fast.
But in the end, a truth was found:
Together, they’re woven, the essence profound.
For Perfume and Scent, though both distinct,
Find harmony in Fragrance—linked.
Each alone, a part of a greater whole,
Together, they speak to the heart and soul.

Her lips, now draw so near mine—
static hums,
lightning sings,
my fingertips zing.

Our breath suspends in flight,
threads pulled oh so tight;
My hunger coils—
her taste, pure starlight.

Our flesh enraptures,
trembles nearly bare—
a storm unfolds,
surging ever slowly— there.

We sit on the edge of the horizon,
and dangle our legs.
hoping that
The Sun
will kiss our feet,
and introduce us to
The Moon,
who she spends forever chasing,
but will never
catch.

Part 2 of Channeling H.P. Lovecraft.

(A lone voice whispers.)

Her ruby eyes

When she appeared knocking softly on my front door

Wore me out instantaneously with revolving shadows

Blooming with mystical colours of deep dreams

Echos of an unexplored multiverse

A place where unfulfilled desires and cravings linked to lust

Could be so easily dissolved and resolved

They whispered of archaic realms

Revolving around humanity
Like old satellites unseen

Twinkling with sparkling obsidian dust infused with a fervent red shimmer

Of something transmigrational

Something so mysterious and sensuous

That when she suddenly willed it to appear

You could sense it would be utterly insatiable

Her smile carried a hidden memorandum and invitation

That was inescapable

For with one look
You knew her courage was unshakable

She appeared to me like a ghost in the night

Offered me a sharp drink
To sink before our libidos began to fight

Her real name was truly a mystery to me

As I wait impatiently by the fireplace

At The Shadow and Key
For her return

But when I pause and reflect
Will I ever learn

And like so many before me

Will I come to eventually understand

That she's just one of the many saboteurs

Sent by the hidden Masters at Arms

Like wild-eyed birds as this world turns

Or am I just another blind fool
Looking for love

As the world stands at one minute to midnight

Before everything goes nuclear and everyone burns

At The Shadow and Key
My humble abode

By the raging blue sea

A coin tossed in air,
its shadow stretches on stone—
is it fate or desire?

After a long time, someone feels like my own,
Her smile makes my heart race.
Her laughter, her charm, I love it all,
The way she explains with love, is unique.

In my loneliness, there's now a freshness,
I've become a poet, this is her influence.
I thought this time, I'll confess my love,
This secret now feels like a stone on my heart.
We stand unrobed where daylight splits the air,
Her thighs a bramble, mine are smooth and spare.
The mirror's glare reveals what we both share:
One breast a plum, its twin a rounder pear.

Time’s cursive scrawls on skin we’ve learned to bare—
Her stretchmarks ripple, tides, my palms embrace.
No clues hide the faint silver in her hair—
My thumb traces the laugh-lines on her face.

Past phantoms fade—two clocks now beat as one.
Her skin, once chilled, now thaws beneath my sighs;
My stony silence ripens into sun;
Time-frozen hearts melt in each other's eyes.

Your mouth—a fig split ripe—now drinks my moan:
We fuse to one fierce sun, no dusk, no dawn.

I still see you in my dreams sometimes, like echoes in my head of something familiar.
paper was my new best friend, it listened as i laced my words with pain and beauty, heartbreak and desire.
'we still could be' was the last thing you said before I walked away.
(that's right, i walked away this time)
I knew the what the words you said meant. the silent question mark lingering in the air.
but I couldn't bring myself to answer.... not then.... so I'll answer now.
I could love you till the sun stop's shinning and the moon stop's rising. but the truth to us is we were never meant to last that long.
we were stubborn and messy, young and reckless.
but I can still miss you, dream and write about you.
but when you said 'we still could be' somewhere deep in my heart  knew, and answered for me.
maybe in another life we could be something we weren't supposed to be in this one.

Hug me, O’ sacred bliss,
Until I drown in your warm embrace,
Wrap me close in your velvet arms,
Until your essence fills my every trace.

Let your touch be a soft breeze,
That dances gently on my skin,
Envelop me in your tender whispers,
Where love and time begin.

Till I breathe your fragrance in,
Until it lingers deep in my soul,
Until my very heartbeat is yours,
And I am made completely whole.

Hug me, O’ sacred bliss,
In the cradle of your sweet light,
Let me be a reflection of you,
Woven in your grace, a shining night.

Bind me to you, till the end of days,
Let your love be my only guide,
And when I walk, let the world know,
I carry you always, deep inside.
