Blessings of words
Arrived in a parcel of dreams
Best dressed

Fearlessly facing fears
Riveting heights
Rungs of the ladder, uneven
Ancient lamp lit, climb through the dark

Rivers and sky
A world in between
Swimming, hoping to fly
Beyond the crest

Reaping not rusting
Into the last harvest
Forever foraging, the wild within
Wilderness alive

Gratitude laden fragrance
Never ever to bottle the essence
In the world of words
Living wild and free

✨🌿🌿✨
If each of your wildest dreams
Came suddenly true today
Would only your life improve?
Or others helped on their way?

If each of your fervent prayers
Came granted complete this hour
Would the entire world be blessed
If you had this praying power?

If each of your inmost thoughts
Formed full into worldly shape
Would everyone feel more joy
And out of despair escape?

Seek for the true prosperity
For you - for me - and for all
We are called to be as one
Let us work to heed this call

My wife shared with me an idea and said, "Why don't you write a poem about this?"  So I did.  She heard it from a Pastor she was listening to online.  He said something like, "If every one of your prayers were suddenly answered, would it bless the whole world, or would it only bless you?"
So I elaborated a bit on the idea and put it to verse.

From the usual desires within a store
From the potato chips that don't call for you but still eat
From the shredded cheese that only seems delectable at
2:00 am

There is nothing in this world we wouldn't crave
For we are the ones who have slept through sleepless nights
For we that have been addicted to the nectar that is known as
coffee
And For we that has been blessed with
Lusus Naturae

But remember, That even if we were blessed.
The ill will wish for us
And we shall respond
as it is not our duty to do so

Instead, it is just the cravings that bond our blessings
and that we are one in the twilight

A raft to drift upon
When the world is thunders and storm.
The first rays of sunshine
After a hard winter of the soul.
The power to go on
When the heart is full of bruises.
The warmth of a fire
When reality is freezing cold.
The reason to exist
When nothing makes sense.

This is the definition of Love.
Courtney O Oct 2020
The pen casts a spell
to each of our little pains
Charged with our ache,
distills into peaceful stillness,
a final and blissful end
(Words indeed do save)
Humans saving humans,
this is true heaven, truly being blessed
Hammad Oct 2020
We all take
slow poison
willingly -Β Β when we allow
toxic people in our life
to exploit
our vulnerabilities,
to prey
on our weaknesses...
to infest
their misery
on our blessings...
My dear
I have seen them casting spells
so evil
that they left nothing
but a dry, barren and empty soul....
eleanora santino Aug 2020
to be connected to all that is truly beautiful
is a gift that makes your life blessed and bountiful
to create love out of the darkness of space
is the power of light and its grace
we need not fear in times of peril
disaster strikes hard, but is of no merit
for you are made of Light
and you see that even in pain and death,
there is a continuous life.
i choose life, before anything.
You and I together
Make more than one plus one
As our efforts meld and join
The synergy grows fun

When we focus on a goal
Our purposes entwine
And lead to increased life
In both your world and mine

The synergy works magic
Spreading blessings all around
More smiles flash on faces
Where synergy abounds

So always act with synergy
As you go about your day
Yes, synergize with pleasure
In the most effective way

I do use the word Synergize in the poem, and I give credit to Stephen Covey for first coining that word in his amazing book, "Seven Habits of Highly Effective People". I recommend the book.

You can use Synergy in your life in so many ways!

When you have sixteen things to do, see how you can combine two or three. Also, synergize with people in creative ways. Two are better than one.
