It didn't hurt when you drove the dagger into my heart.

Only did it hurt when you left me to pull it out by myself.

it's ok
there's circles written around my eyes
people see it as something for them to solve,
like a riddle they can't even read.
but the clearer they see, the less they like.

they tell me i'm too much too handle,
they leave when they tell me i snap too easy
they leave when they realize they can't play with my head
they leave when i don't change my ways

and all i have to say is
i live for myself, not you.
so their defensive minds deem it selfish
they leave

Sometimes I just want ***,
I want to feel your lips on my neck
And your hand on my breast.

Sometimes I just want love,
I want your arms wrapped around me,
Embraced in your touch.

Sometimes I just want to be acknowledged,
I want to know that when I talk
You hear me.

Sometimes I just want to know,
Know that you appreciate me,
Want to be around me, near me.

I want to know that I'm not cloaked in invisibility.
I want to believe that every sacrifice I've made to be here with you has been worth it.
roses are red but
romance is dead, so what use
is counting petals?
We as writers have the ability to do many things.
We know how to change the tenses of many different words,
Such as love becoming had loved
And together becomes we were together.
We have the knowledge to change things
From the affirmative to the negative,
Such as we’re in love
To she isn’t in love
Or she is always by my side
To I rarely see her anymore.
We can combine the two
To change something that is happening
To something that might have never even happened,
Such as how will always be in love
Changes to were we ever in love?
And how I love you
Could be flipped to ask
Didn’t you ever love me?
Inspired by many memories from many people. This idea has been occupying space in my head for a few days now... This is the release I have found for it.
